It actually went better than expected, so that's good.
I feel I need to clarify: I am not leaving because I am unhappy, or something is not right; I'm leaving because... it feels like the right time to do so.
I
am quite happy here; however, I've never envisioned myself growing old long-term here. I've always pictured myself back in CA some day, and more and more lately, I've thought well, maybe it's time to get reestablished there again. I feel ready to face the things I probably did 'run away' from, and I can see now better and different ways of doing things that I didn't before.
People don't always make big changes only out of misery or unhappiness!
Thanks for the career tip Suzanne

I actually have never wanted to "make it" as a comedienne; acting's really my thing, the comedy's an offshoot, but I have a very solid network there should I choose to do it again in LA!
I really do appreciate all the good wishes - but I remain a HUGE fan of the UK, and still think London is the most amazing city in the world. I am blessed to have been granted a childhood wish to live here 'one day.' I did it. And I hope one day to return, as a visitor, and enjoy all it has to offer!
