Dessert to go with Mexican?

a friend's having me round for a weekday dinner thing.  she's making fajitias (sp?).  she's asked me to bring dessert.  what the heck goes with mexican for dessert?

not sure I can help since I'm still in Texas but I do know Mexican food..I don't know if you can get this there, but sopapillas, or flan are served at most Mexican restaurants..but even traditional desserts are too so whatever you bring I don't think
you can't go wrong.

Vanilla ice cream is nice if you are going for a store bought treat.

Sopapillas are YUMMMMMMMY!! Drizzled in honey!

Or just Kahlua coffees for afters?

Oh evil thread!  Now I want sopapillas, churros, flan, and kaluha ice cream.  Hmmm, Mexican restaurant within walking distance of my house and it is approaching dinner time in the states.....hmmmmm >:D

Olive... i've got Mexican chocolate in the house.   When you're finished drinking it there are always chunks of cinnamon bark in the bottom of the cup! Mmmmmmmmm....  :)

A dessert that i fix when i'm making mexican is Marguerita Pie - not sure you want to go to this expense, but it sure is a yummy finish to a nice mexican meal.  You would need tequila, curacao, lime juice, heavy cream and condensed sweetened milk in a graham cracker pie crust.  If you want the recipe, let me know and i'll post it.
