Not today, but I didn't bother to open it until today...  A letter from Npower saying they are refunding us £55-odd quid - something about billing irregularities for a year or more ago.  Need to go to the Post Office (as per the letter) with my ID & collect our refund.  I love seemingly 'free' money that just turns up when you weren't expecting it!  :D

I got my December issue of the Dutch sewing pattern magazine I subscribe to... only I also received it on Wednesday!

So I'm posting it to my sewing friend in Haiti, who is ECSTATIC to be getting it, as it's a really great issue and everything is so super expensive there right now. So I feel good that I'm passing along my good karma, even though I could've easily sold it on eBay for £15-20.

A Christmas present for the 7 year old from my Mom.  It's a pair of shoes and they are quite cute.

£35 of Tesco vouchers. (the downside ... it means we spent a crapload of money at that store in the past 3 months) And I can double up the value of them to buy a tv for Thing 2 for Christmas as that's what he's asking for this year. That means I'll be able to get him a tv/dvd combo at almost 1/2 off! Cha-ching!
Let them eat cupcakes!

Officially Britishly since August 2013

Got the screen protectors for my new Kindle.

Still waiting on the Kindle itself, though, as well as its case. :( Kindle should come tomorrow, case may be next week sometime.
