A sweet little cross-stitch hedgehog from my mom! :D

Cute!

The council tax bill. Nothing terribly exciting.

My US passport, naturalisation certificate, and marriage certificate.  Feels soooo good to have them back in my hot little hands.  Hopefully the UK passport isn't too far behind!

Oh I didn't send my marriage certificate, but the passport application that I filled out didn't ask for it either. ???

My American passport is in my married name now though.

The examiner did ring me back this morning & they are sending the American passport back to me right away.  He said my British passport application would still proceed & eventually I'd receive a letter asking me to schedule the interview - so I guess they are doing it for all the new ones now.

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I still haven't got my eBay package grrr   [smiley=shout.gif]  [smiley=furious3.gif]  the only mail we got today was just a car insurance renewal paperwork.

Got my American passport back in the post today (from the British passport office) - what an enormous relief it is to have that in my hands again!
