OK, I went and looked. In the emails I get, it references the entry title, but in Blogger itself, it doesn't. Do you have yours set up to send you an email when someone comments?

Hmmm....no. I just have it on my 'dashboard' when I log on to Blogger.

I'm actually really liking the idea of a theme. I'd suggest a weekly one but obviously, if you don't like it, or don't do it, it's fine! It would be cool if we all chipped in ideas for themes and then randomly generated a list of them.

Oh, and Mindy, I agree. Drunk women always go before disco lights!

Go to 'Settings' then 'Comments.' There's a place there you can enter your email address so you get notified whenever anyone comments. 

I'm getting bored again trying to come up with pictures. So, I wondered if anyone might like to do a theme sort of thing?

For example, every Monday you've got to take a photo of a certain type of thing. The categories would be very general, and really open to interpretation. (ie. transportation, light, windows, circles -- anything, really!)

This isn't very well-thought out at this stage, just wondering if there's any interest. If so, we could make up our own rules. 

I'd definitely be up for this! Although, as ~E~ said, I might not stick to it. I mean, I might either find something spectacular that doesn't fit the theme, or else just not have the opportunity to find something that fits the theme. But it would be nice to have a sort of direction once in a while.

So why don't you start it off, Sevans, since it was your idea? Say you pick the theme and let people know by Tuesday? Wednesday? Is that enough notice for everyone?

Then we can either determine the order that people will pick in, or else the person choosing the theme can also choose who'll be choosing the next one.

Sounds great! I like the idea of just one day a week having a theme. I can't always check in here and I'd hate to feel limited everyday. This way I can sort of think for a few days about the photo I'd like to do!

I'll try for the theme!  Why not, some days it's hard to come up with something worth posting.

I'm a bit confused (lack of sleep!). So the theme is for a specific day? I was thinking it might work for more folks if the theme was chosen and you had the whole week to fit that into your shooting schedule (so to speak ). I'm already pretty sure I won't manage this Thursday as it's my wedding anniversary and it's unlikely water will factor into that (though you never know!).

Yes, I see what you mean about schedules! I'm going to do it on Thursdays, but you can do it any day you want during the week. How about that? You can make a note on your blog entry that it's the theme of the week picture, any day.

Yes, I think so because Chary will post a new theme next Sun. Then she can nominate someone to post the following Sunday.

And I'll keep my blog updated every Sunday with the new theme.

I think I'm going to stick to Thursdays. If I'm busy or don't find any water, then I won't do participate in the theme thing this week. Hopefully it'll work most weeks!
