Who's getting married in 2009?!

Okay.....first time of SERIOUS panic.  Problems with the evening reception venue, still no dress, neither responding to calls/e-mails.  I broke down in tears in the loo at the Emirates (admittedly, the score line didn't help!)...

The good news is that scatty Vicar remembered to read the banns, so at least we can legally marry.  And the rings are being delivered on Wednesday.  I suppose this is the important stuff.

My dress did not arrive untill 2 weeks before we married, I bawled my eyes out constantly until it arrived and my original venue went bankrupt 6 weeks before the day and stole our deposits!! We had to source a new place and so fourth...We got hubby's suit measured up and when it arrived it was nothing like what we had asked for ( really cheap looking) so we had to dash to Debenhams Suit Hire Department ( fantastic in there! highly reccomend ) to get a last minute panic suit fitted and ordered a week beforehand......what I am trying to say is, amongst all the hectic planning and events going wrong, the day did turn out perfect...so don't worry too much...everything will fall into place

Lol!  Vicky...you have just got to ride the weather until the day...I came to a point where I thought f@ck it with the planning! Just do what you can and enjoy a nice day, it does and will miraculously all fall in place

I had what was supposed to be my last dress fitting last week ... but it's a bit tight. Eeek! So I'm going to go back one more time late this month and hopefully it'll be OK. If not, they'll let it out a bit.

I've also met with the cake lady (my cousin) and got that all sorted.

I had a trial run with my hairdresser and that went well. She loves the hairband I'll be wearing. And I've arranged for her to come out to the Castle and do our hair before the wedding.

I also had a trial run with a makeup lady and it was great. She's also coming out to do our faces before the wedding.

I met with the photographer and he took a bunch of pictures of me which was both fun and terrifying. I hate having my picture taken!!

I've booked various minibuses to take people to lunches and dinners.

The guest book just arrived in the post. And this afternoon I'm going to collect the favours.

I think it's all coming together!!

We picked the pictures for our wedding album last night. I was having an ugly day yesterday and I needed to look at pretty pictures of myself as a pick me up! Ha!
