Gotta get that five a day in somehow!   ;D
Burritos have so many better veg options! Peppers, onions, lettuce, avocado, tomato... No excuse for putting carrots in there. *sigh*

We are doing Mexican tonight, chicken fajita bowls. I'm making the pico soon (although we had to put in green chilies instead of jalapeños due to no stock at Sainsbury's). Yum. And no carrots!

Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia.

Sigh.

Oh, if you're in Glasgow, we just ate at Pizza Punks, downtown on St. Vincent Street. Absolutely amazing! Reeeeeeally good pizza.

I had Cherry Garcia on Saturday night.  Are you sure you don't have a Vue Cinema close by?  They always have a Ben and Jerry's down here.

But you shouldn't have to pay £20 for a movie ticket to be able to pay £10 for a small portion of Cherry Garcia.  We want our Cherry Garcia IN THE STORES!!!

Nope, no Vue.  There's an Odeon that's two bus trips away, over in another part of town, that has B&J (though I don't know if they have Garcia). Much too far to travel for a scoop of ice cream.

Made a big pot of chili last night and let it gurgle overnight. Chili made out of stew meat is the best, really. So now it's ready to be Frito Pie, or burrito filling, or just straight in a bowl with shredded cheese and some chopped onions.

You can just go in an buy the ice cream without buying a movie ticket! hahah for Free cone Day, the closest Ben and Jerry's is at the cinema so you don't really have a choice LOL

I'm really craving good sushi ...

I changed my mind about going overnight to London on the bank holiday weekend because hotels are crazy expensive, but maybe we'll just go for the day and meet up with my husband's friends before the event they're all playing. I'm sure I can find a good sushi place somewhere near central London for lunch!

I don't eat sushi but I've been told that Sushi Mania in Reading is actually quite good. Not sure how good the sushi at Yo Sushi is but I like their other food. Itsu might have sushi as well I think and that's in reading (their Gyozas are good and their sushi might be quality too). You won't have any trouble in London though :)

Mmmmm, pumpernickel bread bowl filled with spinach dip.  Wow, that sounds AMAZING right now (we are still baking at work).

I have been dreaming of BBQ ribs, sticky, smokey, melt in the mouth ,fall off the bone yumminess.... My husband never wants ribs because of the mess factor (nor does he want Mexican food for the same reasons). Sigh....

KF had BBQ ribs last week and she didn't share!

My husband wouldn't be interested, either, for the same mess factor reason.  He will eat Mexican food, though, so at least I have that.  But he won't eat drumsticks, wings, ribs, etc.  No meat-on-the-bone.  And I love buffalo wings/legs.  *sigh*

I ordered nachos at an American style steak house here in Tenerife... they put sweet bbq sauce on the nachos. Interesting to say the least.
