I'm always amazed where they turn up.  There were some living in a park a few miles away from the house where I grew up.... in the middle of Los Angeles!

That a jacket potato with beans and cheese isn't as bad as I thought. I still won't do beans on toast though.

In the night sky, you can tell the difference between planets and stars because stars twinkle. Planets don't.

According to Google Sky, the bright planet that we can see is Jupiter! Could that be true? If so, amazing.

That doing the ironing is good for a cold (depending on how you look at it, I suppose).  It's not something that had previously occurred to me, but when I was ironing at various times this week, the steam helped to loosen up the gloop in my head.  That's multi-tasking, I think!

I could absolutely be Jupiter!  It's not always easily visible to the naked eye, but sometimes everything aligns perfectly so you can see it.

that the English and the Yanks pronouce 'with' differently  ..Most Yanks  make it sound like Width  and Brits  make it sound like  with (like the  th in mother)  and that my FIL can  a real d*ck about non important stuff like that..    Does.My. Head.in.
