That gardening is fun, and tiring, but earns MANY brownie points with the owner of the garden (my mum!).

Today (and yesterday) I learned wearing DMS army boots whilst doing a D of E exercise isn't ideal, mainly because we walked 21 miles (in total) from the City Of Peterborough, around the country side, camped up and walked back on a longer route!

Yesterday I learned...well I had never seen the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which was on TV last night, and I didn't get to see it all because of making tea & also Tess of the D'urbervilles was on.  But I never knew that David Tennant had a very small part as a bad guy in that film!  Who knew?!!

I learned that my husband's great uncle was one of the founders of the Gay Games.  Cool!

The scents of cucumber and/or licorice make women feel more frisky (probably only if you like those scents). The scents of pumpkin and lavender make a man more frisky.

If a man is having E.D. it's also likely a heart issue because that's caused by blocked arteries.

Guess the topic on Oprah today.  ;)

Childrens glasses should always be free on the NHS - up to the age of 18/19, I believe (in line with eligibility for free prescriptions). The opticians should have a range of free frames that you can choose from. but if you don't like the ones on offer, you can pay for some from the priced selection. I got free NHS glasses until I was about 16, but started paying for them after that because the free selection was kind of dire (think big 80's-style plastic pink or blue frames) :P!
