Yes, Beth....BELIEVE it! :)  I'm excited for you!!!

The closer the time gets, the more we'll all have to talk about meeting up somewhere in London.  Josy's supposed to be there in June as well....so we'll all have to get together.

Thanks, Patty!! How cool to think we will all get to meet up in a few months! Woot! :)

I'm UBER excited...lol.

I keep telling Ian "I can't wait for June now!"  And, like a typical guy, he rolls his eyes and says "You girls..." lol

And he also said "You damn American women are going to take over our country!"

Alright...gotta get ready for work.  Beth, HOPEFULLY you can fall back to sleep here shortly (saw your status on Facebook).

Everyone have a nice Sunday, and those of us here in the US, try and stay warm!  *hugs and hot chocolate*

OH!  And I got an email from David's Bridal...my dress is in so picking it up after work tonight!  YAY!!!

it's so nice that you ladies will all get to meet up in London!  Unfortunately, even when I'm in the UK, I'll still be an ocean apart from you all... :(

I've slipped back into lurking mode.  Way too much going on with uni right now.  Today, I'm going to the Obama concert at the Lincoln Memorial which will either be REALLY awesome, or REALLY lame.  Will keep you posted... haha

Have a good rest of weekend, everyone!

Hey Brittany- I'm flying through Dublin! Take the train already and come on down! I'll probably be staying there a few days at the beginning of my trip (first few days of June).

Brittany when you are living in Ireland we will make sure every so often our meetings are in Ireland just for you...the sappy romantic ladies club will move around lol we can't leave anyone out...

Patty are you sooo excited that you will be there soon and be married? I am so excited you are picking up your dress today....

I saw Bride Wars last night and I really liked it...and I learned some new techniques for tackling other brides lol...

Yeah you just all decide where you are meeting up in June and I will be there with bells on....or if you think that will embarass you all I won't wear the bells hehe

Becca how long are you staying in the UK? Are you having a blast?

Carey how the heck are you?

Jamie have you recovered from your bday weekend?

Hey hey girls.  I'm ok. A bit hungover today, but all in all pretty ok.   I am actually jealous of all you girls and the cold weather - its 61F here today and I hate it!  This is NOT winter and I want my winter!  I have windows open and am wearing tank top.  Ridiculous!

I hope the concert is awesome Brittany!

I love 'What a Girl Wants'!  Amanda Bynes always makes me smile for some reason.

Patty - that is wonderful about your dress!  I think I would put it on at least once a week and dance around a bit :)

I am insanely jealous that so many of you will be in England over the summer.  Take lots of pictures of any meet ups for me!

I dont think I've mentioned here that David and I are meeting up in Washington DC for a long weekend starting Feb 5.  He randomly read me an article about women proposing to men a few days ago and I jokingly asked him if he wanted me to propose to him (doing a bit of investigation!) and he was like "well.. you know.. I ... " (which in boy speak is yes, I think).
So I started to entertain the idea again, but then today I asked him if he wanted me to bring his Valentine's gift with me to DC or if he wanted me to mail it so he got it on the actual day and he said "it isnt a ring, is it?".... wtf.  He said he was talking to a friend last night and he doesnt think he would wear a ring (which is fine with me - he doesnt wear jewelery) So what the hell does this guy want!?   Do you think he wants to be proposed to but just doenst want to be expected to wear the ring!?  Honestly, the rings are so cheap for men that I could buy him one just for the proposal effect and he can keep it in his wallet or put it on a keychain for all I care!  Ugh.  I dont read minds and this back and forth from him is getting annoying.

Carey I thought girls were only allowed to propose on Leap Year...last year on the last day of Feb was the time to ask...and guys don't know what they want...they never do lol...

lol...Josy IS right, ya know.  I don't think men EVER know what they want.....unless it has something to do with sex. :P   (Sorry, Alan if you read this any time soon!)

btw, Jo...how was your weekend with your sister?

And, Carey, I'm COMPLETELY jealous of the weather there.  I just had to shovel my driveway for the second time today because when I got home from the store, I could barely get in it.  You can have all the snow you want from me, hon.

Brittany, are you going to the ceremony on Tuesday?

Beth, I LOVE your countdown.  :)

Annnnddd.....once we get closer to June, we'll have to start brainstorming on where we wanna meet up in London.  Jo, you can wear your bells....I don't mind. :P

Alright...I'm STARVING, so I need to go eat dinner.  Catch you chicas later!

Patty, you can wear the dress around your apt like Phoebe and Monica in Friends! Answer the door "I doooo!" ;D

Oh, and I love my countdown, too! I wish it was in days, though, instead of months... lol

Carey- Feb 5th isn't too far away! Cool!! :) Not sure what to tell you about the proposing. I am very women's lib, but I have to say, this is the ONE thing I really want the boy to do! I think it's my pisces romantic side!!!! And seriously, I want your weather! I hate cold winter. It was 12 degrees here on Fri! This is GA! We aren't prepared for that kind of cold!

Brittany how was the concert? Did you make it to the portopotty with Bruce? ;) ;) :P

Josy- how was girls' weekend out? :)

Ok, I'm going back to updating my blogs and watching CSI. Quite the crazy Sunday night, eh???

Hi ladies. Sorry I haven't been on in a few days. I've been going back and forth a lot between feeling down and feeling anxious (but not a good excited anxious). So I haven't been quite in the mood to write and didn't want to bring everyone down. Anyway, sounds like things are going well for the most part! Beth, I'm so excited for you and your trip, that sounds like so much fun. Take advantage of the fact that you don't have a man there for now, because that means you will have more freedom, time, and money to go to different places and experience more. If I hadn't been going purely to see DH all the previous times, I would have seen a lot more. We are planning on traveling a lot more after I make ther permanant move though. As poor as we'll be I'm going to hold to that! :) Oh, it's time for me to go to lunch. I'll reply more later.

Eh up ladies!

How's everyone doing? Wedding plans good? Sickness gone? Hotels booked? Long LDR chats going on every night????? I think that may cover most lol

Just a quick update.  We went to the registery office today and gave notice to marry!! YAYAYAYAYA It's almost official, she said there will be no problems and she will call back in a few days.  So yep Feb 28!!! It can't change now.

The decorating is really starting to move forward now!  Have most of the lining paper up and will start painting tomorrow.  I am also sending away for my dl this week, probably Friday, that will be the first day I can make it over to Chester.  So everything is in order, now I just have a wedding to plan ;D  We have an appointment on Thursday night to go pick out the type of wedding cake we want mmmmmmmmm cake LOL

so hope everyone is doing ok!! WOOOWHOOOOOO for OUR new President!!

soz I just had to throw that in there not intending to offend anyone:) haahaha

xxxxxx

Oh nothing is really wrong, I've just been having a hard time with separation from DH and life sucking and being boring and everything that I have to do and WAIT for for the visa.... oh the waiting. Just a ton of emotions and feelings and stresses I can't really deal with. And I sit at my computer all day at work bored out of my mind with hardly anything to occupy me or make me feel like I'm accomplishing anything. Just depressed is all. Not all the time though. I've been having lots of mood swings lately. :) But no worries, I will survive as I always do. On a good note, my latest cold is pretty much gone (with only a hint of a cough left)! YAY!

Jamie, I'm so excited for you and Alan!!! I just went through all that wedding planning crap (except mine was here in the states and DH made it VERY complicated because he HAD to have a big "proper" wedding), so feel free to ask any questions or opinions. Most of all, make sure YOU enjoy the day. :)

Patty, how's the dress lookin? Do you have to get it fitted and stuff or do you get to keep it right away? I still need to get mine cleaned and boxed, but don't want to spend $150 on it. You'd be amazed at how filthy a wedding dress gets!! But yours isn't long so you shouldn't have a problem.

RE Leap year proposals... last year on Feb 29th my DH's (then just a boyfriend) parents probably brought it up to me about 20 times to try to get me to propose to him. hahaha.

And Carey, I LOVE 'What A Girl Wants'... and Amanda Bynes!!! It's so cheesy and I don't like to admit to liking it, but before my very first trip to England I watched it about every other day.

OMG, this is so sad and so funny all at the same time. Two guys just came in to work from Aflac to get some information from us. Small talk, very nice, etc. etc. So they go to leave and I noticed as they were walking out the door that the one main guy that was talking to me had a HUGE split in the back of his pants. The other guy was right behind him and didn't even say anything! I looked the other way so it didn't seem that I would have seen (I thought it would be too embarrassing coming from me if I told him and figured his associate would tell him once they got outside). So they went outside and walked all the way over to the parking lot and the other guy didn't say a thing!! And I mean this rip was big! I could see full on tighty-whitey and some leg. Didn't he feel a breeze at least?? Oh man I felt so bad for him!
