LOL nice Alan.  You're lucky your 4500 miles away - only I can make fun of my Toff..er.. David. :)
I just called him and told him to go buy me a pressie (note the extra credit usage of Brit slang) at the M&S Sale, and I think he basically said no. Hmph.

And yes, Jamie might have a hard time turning HER accent into his accent. Southern belle to posh Brit... a tough one.

I want a pressie. Preferably naked with a bow on top. ;)

(Geesh... can you tell where my mind is?!)

1. Is anyone else jealous they cant go to the 20% off mega sale at Marks & Spencer today?

My friend PJ told me it was 25%. I'd be at it, but Tim went to visit his dad at the hospital after he got off work, and isn't back yet to take me! (and the busses into town stop running at 6!)

Josy, that is WONDERFUL news. Happy thoughts are being sent your way.  Is it bad that I'm more excited to hear your news on Saturday than I am to watch What Not to Wear on Friday night? (this is why life has been reduced to as a over-worked, skint, college student)

Also, I totally had a Sex and the City moment last night when the boyfriend informed me that he has cleared out a drawer for me at his place because he "knows i hate living out of a suitcase". Not a huge gesture, but MASSIVE for him. I just thought to myself "I'm FINALLY cracking Mr. Big!"

Yay Bbreslin that is totally a Sex in the City moment....you go girl  :)

Jaime I am sorry your friends are acting weird...my friends are weird to..especially more so now that I have been gone for 6 months and am back...I feel like I don't belong anymore...not in a bad way..but my one girlfriend never let up on me and the long distance stuff and she still doesn't....

Bbreslin you have to watch What not to Wear on I believe December 13th my girlfriend Marianna is going to be on it...she was a terrible dresser...she even owned cow spandex pants (for you british I don't mean underwear lol) they totally transformed her and she looks fab everytime I see her...they even made her buy a Kate Spade bag for $500.00 with the money they gave her...she was so happy she cried so much in the Kate Spade store they threw in a wallet and Sunglasses lol

Alan I am still impressed by the taco and burrito...and I laughed so hard at your story of giving her a 20 pound note lol

Carey you can't do a pound symbol because your keyboard is configured for American English Language not British....

I know this is a big post but I missed most of the day....

Oh the word of the day in a sentence....
I was so happy when I met Jason face to face to find out he didn't have wonky teeth....hehehe

Beth I am with you on the pressie with the bow...I bet you would like it to be Jude lol

The holiday was on again tonight....

The movie the Christmas List I told you about has Mimi Rogers in it and was on lifetime

Jamie can't believe your moving to England and didn't know what a pressie is hehe ...just kidding...it is a good thing we do word of the day here....

Carey I am sorry David wasn't here to hug you and also that he said no to buying you a pressie at M&S

Yes I am very excited that Jason and I are talking on Saturday and I thank all of you for your support....

oh and just to vent..I live 10 minutes from work and it took me 2 hours and 15 minutes to get home tonight because traffic was at a stand still.....what a way to end the day

I am sorry I missed all you guys and I will keep up more tomorrow

Wow that was a long post!  Good job getting every point in there though!  I cannot express my jealousy that your friend was on WNTW.  Oh how I love Stacy and Clinton! I'll wear cow print everything if someone will get me on that show!
What was up with the traffic, Josy?  Thats ridiculous!

Breslin - that would be a massive gesture from David too.  Kind of like when he left a toothbrush at my house and asked me to leave mine at his.  Silly for most, but big for him and totally adorable for me.
Oh and Breslin, we need your real name!

I am watching a BAD movie with Shannen Dougherty - she was a thief and stole everyone's Christmas presents, but then fell in love with some cop and he tried to let her go, but she (stupidly!) said that she should face her consequences and now I think hes taking her to jail or something (I caught it in the middle, so am a little confused...)  Its no Holiday in Handcuffs, thats for sure  [smiley=smart.gif]

Sorry! I'm brittany, by the way.

I will most DEFINITELY watch What Not to Wear! I think I would go into hysterics if I ever was given that much money to spend not on books, or food, or bills...but CLOTHES  :o

I would love the toothbrush gesture as well.  I was equally excited this summer, though, when I found out my boyfriend and I were unknowingly "toothbrush buddies". We somehow managed to get identical toothbrushes while living 4,000 miles away.  Not getting them mixed up was tricky...

Tim bought a new dresser before I got here and gave me three drawers :)  His sister told me I should just leave clothing here when I go home so I have less to pack next time.  Tim also bought me a dressing gown because I couldn't fit mine into my suitcase to bring along! :D

Our boys are awesome :D

we had snow flurries last night at rush hour and you would think that people here in the East never saw snow before...it was crazy...plus I think there was an accident that closed one of main roads...traffic was terrible...

I saw that Shannen Doherty movie last Christmas and I don't really like her so I passed on it...

Speaking of sappy romantic movies I am going to see "Twilight" tonight...it is the movie based on the book by Stephenie Meyer....This series was the best books I have ever read and the most romantic...so I am very excited...I will give you a sap report tomorrow lol  (Edward is a vampire and Bella a high school girl and they fall in love and have this deep love where they just know that they need to be together but they can't) That isn't giving anything away...but it reminds me of our LDR we know we need to be together...we love them that much ...but something beyond our control is keep us apart...

My girlfriend said Stacy and Clinton were great...and she said that the crew couldn't believe she was at her hotel everyday waiting to go shopping...they said people ususally don't want to shop or change their wardrobe so they disappear or just don't show up to shop lol

Josy, I'm SO jealous of your friend! ("Shut UP!" haha) I love WNTW and have always wanted to be on there! Also a bit jealous about the snow. It's only going to be 43* here today, but all we get is super cold and 25 mph winds apparently.

Enjoy the movie tonight. I'll be watching Ghost Whisperer! Just as sappy (esp. now that they've killed off her husband who's hanging around as a ghost.)

BTW, what does it mean that I dreamt about getting my first bank account in England? I was at HSBC and all excited about getting my ATM card. Odd thing was that all the workers there were American and we were talking about how we were going to miss Thanksgiving?! Uh, ok....
