I just thought of another one.  Twenty years ago when I lived in a big sprawling "band house" one of the kids who was in "Dead Poet's Society" used to come over and hang out with my housemates and I.  I have no idea where his acting career went after that movie.

I once served a coffee to Sean Bean when I worked in a restaurant (actually, I spilled it all over the saucer, I was SOOOOO starstruck)...

I went to school with Rachel Stevens from Steps (though I don't remember her) and Dan from 'The Feeling'...

I once sat two feet away from Jarvis Cocker in a trendy private members club in Soho...

I got fired from a job by Michael Howard...

I have held an Oscar, that was won by a friend of my dads, and which we had to hide in the cupboard under the stairs when said friend was being hassled by the tax man...

I think that is about it.

Nope.  It was the cute red-haired kid--Allelon Ruggerio.  I just checked up on him on imdb--he's been in quite a few movies since then including Twelve Monkeys, but nothing since 2004.

I  Stood next to Gary Oldman at a Urinal in Las Vegas.  I didn't look at him, so my friend and I had to run after him to make sure that it was really him.  I really didn't want to shake his hand right at that moment.

I know that there are a couple of these threads about.  We just saw Nigel Planer (Neil from the Young Ones) in Starbucks.  Apparently, he's making a casserole tonight and he cooks for himself.

My best friends husband is a school friend of his (and she toured with Pulp selling T-shirts for 2 tours) and I have been out with him twice last year, he is lovely. I also know some other members of Pulp through knowing him. Its quite ironic as I was a HUGE Pulp fan in the mid nineties and saw them about 10 times before moving to the UK.
