Birmingham/Dudley - Any Meetups on the Horizon?

At the risk of sounding like a pathetic, lonely, helpless American...I need to get out of my flat, people? I live in Kingswinford, which is in the Dudley Borough -- about 25 min West of Birmingham and I am about to climb the walls of my place with my current state of cabin fever!!

Anyone in or around the area up for getting together for drinks, movies, ANYTHING??

I'd love to meet another American in these parts. . . and I can introduce you to 2 other American women in Dudley too!  =)

We had a meetup in Birmingham a couple weeks ago with some other Americans we know in the West Mids. . . (Sorry I didn't find this thread before then. . . )  And decided we would do it again in April. . . (After a two Americans who came last time have returned from their trips to the US. . . )

However, I would LOVE to meet up with you for lunch/coffee/shopping/whatever else you can think of sometime. . . and I'll talk to Kearsten and Evette and see if we can plan something in a week or two. . . =)

Are any of you on Facebook? If so, might be a way to stay in touch. (PM me if you do)I'd love to meet up with some people. I've been here 7 months now and I have no friends of my own really (outside of friends of friends through DH -- who could stand to be more social as well).

I'm dying to get out though and explore more of where I live.

I know it has been a while since someone has posted in this, but I thought I might see if any of you might be meeting up. I will be an hour out. I will be in the UK near December and will be wanting to talk to people. Its easier on here than in person. So if you still have something going let me know please. Will need some friends.

It's been ages since we've managed any type of meetup in this area and I know we've got some recently moved folks feeling a bit isolated. 

How about meeting up at the Christmas Craft Fair at the Coventry Transport Museum Nov 14th or 15th? Maybe a meal at Nando's?

Super easy to get to via bus or train (take 27 Bus from Coventry Station, Transport Museum is right next to Bus Station).

Oh, I think I can make that.  I'm in Redditch and I think I have to be in Cov that weekend anyways!  Please keep me updated.
