I went to meet a friend and walked the 3 miles to see her, just so that I could enjoy the weather.

Though frankly, I'd give it all up for a job! Give me an office with a shitty view right now and I'd be a happy bunny :)

I drove to the desert (Palm Springs/Palm Desert) to visit my dad. OK so it wasn't spontaneous. But it was sunny. It's the last time I'll visit my dad at home for ?????. Makes me  sad, but happy to be moving on with my husband. But why do my favorite men have to live so far apart? :(

Took the dog free running before 7am, came home, enjoyed breakfast - out again (with dog) to do reconnaissance on neighbourhood we want to move to, enjoyed coffee outside at a cafe. After coming home, I was able hang out the clean clothes on the line to dry! All in all a really good day!

We had some friends over for an afternoon meal yesterday - friends we hadn't seen in a good long while.  It was sunny and warm enough for us to sit out in the garden for the first time this year - in March!  I can't remember ever doing that as early as March, here, before.  8)

(Ok now it's nearly 5 am BST & I can't sleep --> too much food & booze  :P)

I worked yesterday, but noticed that once the fog lifted, it remained a bit hazy all day which kept the warmth in.  On sunny days it seems the shop is either heaving with people or slow because everyone's gone off to play in the sun.  Yesterday was really busy.

I was finally was able to do a complete maintenance on my bicycle and changed both the flat tyres I had (I must have ridden over some glass or something because the tyres were shredded), and aligned the brakes and cleaned and greased it all up, etc - took me a few hours in total, but I'm happy that I can finally ride my bike again!

(I couldn't stand the thought of changing tyres when I couldn't feel my fingers and the wind whipping down my neck!)

Sat outside in the garden - reading.  I was nursing a bit of a hangover, and DH did some gardening, mostly weeding.  He is growing garlic in tubs & the lovely green shoots are getting taller - it's looking so nice.  :)

I still can't believe it's been warm enough for us to sit out in the garden so early in the year - in March, up here!  :o

Yesterday we went on a long walk with a friend, stopped at a pub for a couple pints out in the sunshine. Today we took a shorter walk and enjoyed the sunshine. Tomorrow I am definitely wearing shorts on our walk. These legs need a bit of sun to get rid of the glow.  ;D

Crazy, isn't it?

The last couple days have been so amazing. Most of last summer wasn't as glorious as it has been. My legs are going to have to continue glowing a bit longer though. My head is going to fall off and I can't stay away from the Kleenex box more than two minutes, so we are going to waste today's sunshine by being indoors. Even if I don't feel any better, I am going to get out in it tomorrow.

I'm going to have a sandwich, walk into the city centre, meet a friend at the pub and go see a play.  ;D

Milking this weather before it goes downhill tomorrow.  :-\\\\

Its sunny today for the first time in ages and I'm going to be indoors at a dress rehearsal.  Dress rehearsal is good, but I also am itching to go outside and play!

What is sunshine? I vaguely remember it.  ::) So glad you are able to enjoy it. :) I suppose I took it for granted before moving here, and now I appreciate it more when I get it.

Seriously. I don't usually mind rain and I know we need it so badly, but how about just one day of sun? Please?
