I keep reminding myself we are in a drought and all this rain is a good thing. But then, day after day, I wonder how we could possibly be in a drought with all this rain.

Sorry there's no sun in the south. I've not seen a cloud today! It will probably go your way soon!

Beautiful here in the West Midlands today (so far)! I may be daring and strip the beds and wash the sheets and hang them up to dry.

Gorgeous here in Blackburn today. So sorry you lost your sun, but thanks for sending us some. :) I have managed to squish a load of clothes and a load of towels on the line. The clothes in the sun were nearly dry as I was hanging the towels, so I did some swapping around to hurry the others along by putting them in the sun. In about an hour or an hour and a half I am going to do a load of bedding. By then the clothes will either be dry or near enough to finish inside. May as well take full advantage.  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

Load number four just went into the washer. When I saw the bottom of the laundry basket, I felt misty eyed yet giddy with glee.

We could have, and should have, been out and about enjoying the day, but I really needed to get the laundry done while I had a chance, and snooker is on. Hubby and his dad are watching, which is good since we have just under two months left here and it gives them a chance to spend more time together.

Since the sun won't be back for a bit I will say yesterday I pulled every weed I could find, went for a long walk, cleaned the gutter thing (yuck).

Today...turned the heat on mid day :(

We had a sunny day so we went for a walk with a friend, around the hiking trails of the park. I took an insane amount of pictures, but wanted to get a lot since it is my last spring living here.

It was partly sunny when I woke so I went for a walk. An hour later it was freezing and cloudy :(

Maybe we should start a thread of 'today it was cloudy so I...' :)

I hung out the laundry for an hour and then ran around like a mad woman trying to get it in before it got soaked.
