uhh. My Granny had another CT scan and there's more bleeding on her brain so she has to have surgery tomorrow to relieve the pressure. And she's going to be wheelchair-bound now. :(

I had to email my post-BMT nurse just in case, to see if flying to the east coast is out of the question or not. Just in case, mind. But if things go badly tomorrow there won't be anyone on call who knows me to just ask a question like that. I'm hoping my asking it'll be a reverse Murphy's Law thing and it will prevent the worst from happening just by preparing for it.

And I haven't even started reconstructing her gown yet for the wedding. aaaahhhhhhhh.

(((hugs))) good thoughts for your granny

My work colleague volunteers for mountain rescue and was called away on Friday to search for someone. Unfortunately, they found the missing guy a little too late. He had fallen off a cliff, got tangled in some brush and drowned in a stream. Poor soul.  :\\\'(

That's awful!  I'm always afraid that's going to be me someday (falling off a cliff, into the brush or onto the rocks, etc) because I am so coordinated and graceful.  :-\\\\
