Peaches! I bought some huge Italian peaches from Lidl and ate two yesterday and two today. In fact, stone fruit in general, since I followed those up with a few nectarines. Oh yum yum yum!

My boyfriend is in the early stages of educating me on proper English food hehe. I've had Angel Delight which I found to be quite tasty. I've also had Cottage Pie and that was delicious ( he made it from scratch) Oh and can't forget he made me a fry up, can we say yummy? What I've noticed about the cuisine out there is that it all adds up to be heart attack on a plate! haha Still enjoy trying new things though.. Can anyone reccommend cheeses I should try that I can purchase here in the states?  ;D

It's a toss-up between Grana Padano cheese and European dry cured meat products (jamon, prosciutto, Carmarthen ham, etc.)! It was nearly impossible to get unpasteurised cheeses and European charcuterie back in the States (remember that whole foot-and-mouth disease, and the mad cow scare, back in 2004?)

It's just a name. But I wouldn't eat it on crackers, personally. That's like putting whipped cream on crackers. Ick. Use it on berries or with apple pie or something like that.

Truffle honey.  With cheese, preferably parmesan. Divine!

The "Tesco's Finest Channel Island Jersey" extra-thick double cream is amazing!!! It's about as close as cream can get to being butter. I think I just gained a stone, just thinking about it!

I really love the food doctor pots. You just add hot water and let it sit for 10 minutes, its really great with ritz crackers.

Anything cooked in the slow cooker. First time I've ever had one, and I am kind of obsessed!

Anything cooked in the slow cooker. First time I've ever had one, and I am kind of obsessed!

I remember when I first got one.  I was the same way.  I had one of those old school ones that I inherited from someone who bought some really nice modern ones.  I was always a bit afraid would set the house alight.  But I used it so much.  I'd love to find one like it just for memory's sake.  Now I have a Crockpot type one, which I still use a lot, but nothing will replace your first.

What's your favourite recipe?
