Yay! Everyone is doing so well! I blame it on the nice weather. Check with most of us come winter and we won't give a toss.  :P

I feel gross after the gluttony of yesterday's surprise, but feel committed to the gym tomorrow. As it is so glorious, we'll also walk into town today!  :)

We ate, ate, then ate some more while we were in Barcelona. I think I could actually see myself gain weight in the 6 days we were there! Back to normal here in Dublin which includes eating healthy and walking everywhere. I also got a new fit ball today. I had to leave my old one when I moved from England and we don't have a lot of room for one here, but I'm determined to use it!

I love that feeling, though... that you realise you ate too much and need to sort it out? I mean, I guess it helps me feel as though I am on the right track when I can realise that I have binged and get myself back on track, if you know what I mean. It seems in winter, I just don't care and continue to binge the following days after, thinking I will just make it up next year.  :-X I hope I can manage to maintain my weight loss this time.  ???

And I feel slightly less gross, so that's good!  :P

Actually, I wasn't but that works as well!  ;) :P

A little down on myself as only did 75% of what I was planning. Getting faint with hunger stopped me from continuing. Sigh. At least I am getting back into a routine!

I've been snacking a lot this weekend and had far too much wine last night... so I fell off track a bit. I always do so well through the week with my routine and everything, but it all seems to get out of hand on the weekends! *sigh*

That's great! I've read its much more beneficial for long term weight loss to lose no more than 2 pounds per week, so it sounds like you are on track!  :)

Thanks - I've also read that- I'm in a hurry (who isn't!  ;D) but I want it to be healthy and steady.

I know what you mean. It always makes me sad to watch shows like the Biggest Loser where people who are trying their best are made to feel like crap for only losing 3 or 4 pounds in a week. WTH?  >:( Plus, if you lose weight too quickly, you are more likely to get stretch marks!  ;)

Also, I think they work out like..5-6 hours a day, every day.  So their weight loss should probably be significant, but it's by no way a normal baseline for most people who have work/families and their normal lives to lead as well!

Sounds like we are all being sensible with our health. Yay for that, everyone!  :)

I achieved 61% of my normal exercise levels last week. Excellent considering for about 6 weeks previous it was zero.

I feel a fitness slide, even after such a short break from routine. Off to the gym again tonight and tomorrow. I am only doing 50 - 75% of what I normally do, but I am trying to work up to it.

I went for a run early yesterday, and I keep getting down on myself for not being able to knock out anything past the 5k mark, but I think I just need to start incorporating walking breaks at timed intervals.  It's worked for my friend, so I'm gonna give it a shot.

I'm going to psych myself up to do the 30 Day Shred again tonight... I've skipped it for nearly 2 weeks now, so I'm terrified of being totally sore again, but I really want to get back into it. Either that, or the Davina Super Body workout. Hmmm. Or I could just customise my own workout with my hand weights.
