I am in dissertation writing mode, so anything to distract me from writing.  I have to keep myself from doing it 3 times a day... but that is just me avoiding writing and eating!

Hmm, I don't remember the motivation to exercise whilst doing my dissertation - unfair!  :P  :P Maybe it'll happen this time, but it's a year away.....  ;)

We'll walk home after our cheapie dance thingie tonight. Yay live dance that is affordable!  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

Sometimes doing a bit of yoga or light stretching helps. Do you have a program for yoga on your Wii Fit or anything?

I do have yoga on my Wii Fit but have never done it before though I have no coordination.  ::)  :P  the pain is mainly centered around my lower back near my kidneys & my tummy fortunately it only last a few days I have pitty for those who have it last longer than mine does!! another reason I cant go to the gym is I get really dehydrated during her visit an I tried going to the gym an pulled a calf muscle an was out of the gym for almost 2 weeks so now I just wait it out better safe than sorry.   ;)  :)

I've taken up running (if doing it twice can be considered "taking up") and I think I am enjoying it so far.  I've done two two-mile runs so far and am going to start a 5K training plan (eventhough I dont plan on running a 5K) to build up some stamina.   We'll see how long the enthusiasm lasts :)

Woohoo! I really, really need to get something going but have had zero energy or initiative. I've felt like crap for ages now. Hopefully I can even start walking again soon.  :-\\\\

Bike? I'm doing an hour a day in the evenings on my bike when I'm in nor in Liverpool and it's great. I never learned as a kid and have had a bike less than two years, I'm already pedalling around, (bit nervy) but it's all good :) I want to cycle to work, but it's 12 miles :/ Bit too far at this juncture in rush hour traffic :)

also, my bike is so lovely it makes me happy :)
 :D

It's purple and upright and retro :) http://www.capitalcycles.co.uk/bikes-and-accessories/bicycles/ladies-commuter/

Nice! Yeah, maybe I will try that in the next few days. I do like riding my bike, but its old and we don't have a rain cover for it out in the garden so the brakes are super squealy and kind of embarrassing... lol. We have some WD-40 type stuff, whatever kind of spray on lubricant stuff, but it doesn't seem to help too much. I should look into getting a new bike sometime.  :)

Ooooh CB- I want your Bike!  Does it have a bell?

MJ, do you have Runkeeper for your iPhone?  It's great to track time, distance and speed.  I'm fairly certain it's available in the UK, and I think if you pay the 5 bucks or quid or whatever for the non-free version that it includes a training program.

Jewlz, are there any fun classes in your area?  I know even in the little village I was in, there were some inexpensive things like Jazzercise etc.

I've been exercising like a fiend and eating well, but I just want to eat a LOT.  I'm trying to make it all healthy stuff, but still a lot of anything can't be great for my diet.  :P

It does! I'm also getting a basket for the front where I can put fresh cut flowers or baguettes!

I'm using something similar called iMapMyRun, whick also tracks time, distance, average speed, calories burned, etc.  Finding the app was really the only thing that made me want to run just so I could have some routes on the map!  But it doesnt have a training programme :(   I'll check out Runkeeper.  Thanks, Sarah!

I'm on sparkspeople and I do the nutrition counter but usually do my own meals.  I like to keep their recommendations as I am interested to see what they put and this morning this is what they suggested I eat.

Cream cheese
Tangerines
1 Eggo Waffle
peanut butter .5 of a tbsp

Right so how does this work... do you put cream cheese and peanut butter on the waffle?  Do you eat that half a tbsp from the spoon?  what a weird breakfast... I went with special K.
