Ah, ok, sorry, didn't realise it was surgical loss. I know it's typical of extreme diets, and I'm evangelically against extreme diets, so I tend to go bananas at the hint of detox diets, colonic irrigations, etc. Sorry  :-[

IA: One of my friends was coming to London on a business trip and planned to stay the weekend and play tourist so I (waited until I was sure she was coming and) bought train tickets down so I could spend some time with her.  Her company has canceled the trip and returned her ticket.

UP: I'm going to London anyway! I'm staying at another friend's place (she'll be in Cambridge), I'm going to eat Mexican food, and I'm going to Bravissimo to get a bra that fits. Other plans include tracking down yarn shops, swinging by Vivien of Holloway, and anything else that strikes my fancy to do in London on a (hopefully sunny) Saturday.

An afternoon spent at VoH is always an afternoon well spent, maybe chip over to Camdem and go to the nitro ice cream shop and spend some time perusing all of the rockabilly stuff scattered about there! :)

I found the shop from one of your posts :) I'm probably going to go to the Holloway one, since I really one have the one full day in London.

IA: Spent loads of time today searching and researching internet options. Signed up with one, found a better deal with another, turns out I didn't qualify for said deal, ended up back with the first one.

UP: Ended up with (theoretically) a nicer cashback deal. :)

UP:  Finally booked the only night remaining that I had left to book for our walking holiday itinerary in June - man some of these places (out-of-the-way B&Bs, pubs & inns) were challenging to get ahold of!  :P  (I have been working on this for about 2 months now - often losing interest because it just all seemed overly complicated & people weren't getting back to me, etc.)

IA:  Getting them to send me some confirmation of our bookings has been like pulling teeth & I'm still working on that part.  ::)

Thing is some places we will be stopping for the night, some of them are so small & out-of-the-way - it's like a choice of one place to stay & that's it.  Lol!

IA: Exhausted, rushed home really quickly afterwork, made a quick 5 minute stir-fry, ate it in about 2 minutes - rushed to band practice.  And then, got there and it had been cancelled :-[

UP: I'm exhausted, so I welcomed not having it

IA: I can't relax or go to bed early anyways, as I have a work conference call at 9 pm- it's across 19 hours of time zones and we're in the middle - so 9 pm for us!

IA:  Up at 5:40, couldn't get back to sleep (Normally I get up around 6:30 or 6:40)

UP:  Not really feeling tired, so I guess I got enough sleep.

IA: Current residents of the flat aren't available to do viewings until late Sunday and late Tuesday. Given that I have a week to find someone, and those are rather inconvenient times, that's a bit of a drag.

UP: At least that means I have most of the weekend to sit around being lazy instead of viewing the flat.

UP: The visit to the doctor confimred the tummy bug my dd has and also gave her some meds for the nasty hacking cough she has as well in an effort to get her better more quickly.

IA: She is sitting next to me in a huff with her arms crossed and staring daggers at me because I wouldn't allow her to go to her Thai kickboxing class tonight as she's physically not up to it. ::)

UP: Coworker found his 3G PAYG dongle, so I'll be able to use that to tide things over until I get internet at the new flat.

IA: New landlord apparently still needs to look into my references some more, which annoys me on two fronts (1 - she's had them for a week now, so given that I'm meant to be moving in 3 days, this is a bit short notice; 2 - evil ex-landlady refuses to do a reference, so that could be tricky). Fingers crossed that it works out somehow, because there's no way I'll find another flat in 48 hours.

Up: My boss just gave me a $100 gift certificate to Hale and Hearty for all the over time I’ve worked in the past few weeks for our investor day.

IA: Not so much of an IA, but really a high level of confusion.  They are trying to fire me, why would she give me something?  Is she feeling badly for everyone going after me so much?

UP: Friends we haven't seen in a long while invited us out to the pub for drinks/food.  They're lovely! We're both really busy - so its hard to catch up - but we're both free tonight

IA: I have dinner already in the slow cooker and I was actually looking forward to it.  So I guess I'll need to put aside for tomorrow.
