Being Human
« on: July 26, 2009, 07:41:47 PM »
This just started in the US... anyone watching it over there? I think I like it!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I watched it in the UK when it was on earlier this year - it was pretty good, but I'll admit that I only watched it because it's set in Bristol and they were filming outside my flat back in November (I even walked past them when they were filming a couple of times) :P

The salmon pink house is at the top of my street!

I thought they were filming Skins until I saw the previews.

I saw a few episodes and thought it was pretty good, but I never felt compelled to watch more.

I loved it!!  I watched it when it aired here, too.  Been meaning to buy the DVD actually, but just haven't gotten around to it.  I hear they're making a 2nd series, so I'm excited about that!

They are working on Series 2 but not sure when it'll be aired yet - end of April update they were still writing the scripts for it.  It's supposed to be... 'bolder, darker, funnier and even creepier.  Hopefully.'

My friend works on the show.

They just started filming this week, but I am not sure when they will be done and how quickly the show will be released after that.
