Priority apps are guaranteed within 15 working, if you don't have anything additional and complicated going on.  I wouldn't even begin to worry if I were you.

It's been 11 working days for me since I submitted Biometrics, and 6 working days since they opened my application in NY.

On the NY border agency website it states the majority of applications are resolved in 8 working days (non-priority applications). Just wondering if anyone has had any recently processed or if anyone has any info out there?

I know its different for every application but i don't know what to think about the timelines.

I think you can only count working days from when they've had your application in hand.

Just a little reminder here...nothing is ever guaranteed, no matter what situation or 'additional and complicated going on'. 15 days is the quoted time frame but if you read the terms & conditions of the Settlement Priority Service there is no guarantee and no refund if they go over that 15 days.

In fact, there's no guarantee that anyone will be approved to begin with.

in my opinion i think whatever documents you have and how complicated they  are will result on when they get back to you

Obviously I understand nothing is guaranteed. just wondering if anyone went through a similar time frame ot have any info. i kind of thought this forum was for people to discuss their experiences.

I just got the second email stating its been assigned to an entry clearance officer to review my case.

To be honest, for non-priority processing, some people have got it approved very quickly, in just a couple of days, but for others it took longer, so nobody can tell you how long it may take. Considering you have got the email stating it's been assigned to an entry clearance officer, it shouldn't be long. Sometimes, they don't even send this email out.

My application arrived at the consulate today. Here's my timeline so far:
Sept 2, applied online
Sept 9, biometrics appointment,  purchased priority, usps expressed the application package (opted for no weekend delivery and yet usps still attempted to deliver it on Sat)
Sept 10, USPS left notice at the Consulate
Sept 12, Email confirming application has arrived safely and will be processed priority.

Now just waiting and second guessing everything. I'm driving myself crazy. I can't focus or do anything.

Finger crossed & good luck to everyone
Sept 2, online application
Sept 9, biometrics appointment, purchased priority & sent package to UK Consulate NYC
Sept 12, package delivered 9 am, email of receipt @2:56pm NY Time
Sept 15, passport arrived in the post with visa.

Best of luck from me to everyone as well.  I have biometrics tomorrow at 10 am and will be submitting my stuff as soon as I can get to FedEx!

I've already had to wait to make sure that we were actually married (due to Irene we were married in a different county than we had applied for the certificate in), we are, and tomorrow the visa waiting begins.  I know that I should spend this time with my friends, but I've been stalking the mailbox waiting for the marriage certificate and I've hardly left my apartment.  I did email everyone today to set up visits!

J. Blythe just signed for my package.  He seems to appear on here often.

Any luck yet Canada?

J blythe signed for mine as well. Did you get an email from them already? They didn't send one to me until the afternoon even though they got my package at 9 in the morning

Nothing yet, but they only got it 20 minutes ago.  If the mail room there works anything like the ones in the various offices I've worked it does, I wouldn't expect it to get to the ECO's until this afternoon.

Panda let me know when you get approved, I'm only a day behind you and it might help keep my sanity!

They received and began processing my priority settlement application on Thursday at 3:28pm. Nothing from them since.....

I wonder how many using the priority service actually get the second email stating that an ECO has been assigned to their application. It seems most get an approval or just have their documents mailed back with no notification!

they got mine at 9am on Monday, sent me the email around 4pm on the same day. It's only been 2 working days but I have been driving myself crazy, checking my email constantly. I know that the chance for the result to come this week is slim but I can't help it cos I'm worried that they may email & ask for more.

When I applied for my student & family visit (purchased priority processing as well), I didn't receive the 2nd email stating that it had been assigned to an ECO. Just an email of receipt & an email of outcome.

Nothing for me yet. i just saw that the processing times increased by a day on the NY uk border agency site.

Today is day 8 from when NY opened the package so I am praying it is soon. Stress level 10 right now! Really need to get back to the uk 1) to my partner and 2) I might lose my job if this goes on much longer. they have been understanding but time is running out for that.... :(

Can't sleep or eat much like all of you due to worry.
