A very good friend of mine let me know today she fund two lumps in her breast 1 week before Xmas and today she had the biopsy and scans.  She didnt tell anyone b/c she didnt want to think about it but trying to keep hopes high.  She will get results next thursday so I am thinking only good thoughts.

Well still nothing from my Brother (and ChillyWilly too) and I'm really starting to be concerned that the parcels will be lost forever  ???...though DH recieved his DVD that he bought of eBay 2 days ago.

Along the same lines, I ordered a book from Amazon for next day delivery which should have been delivered yesterday, but no such luck.  Annoyingly, it wasn't for me.  I ordered it for a friend because we have Amazon prime which is supposed to get us most smaller items the next day if we order before 5pm.  I'm so unimpressed with them.

Plus our new tv, that was supposed to be delivered yesterday still has not shown up.  I've been stuck in the house for two days now, and the first day, they didn't realise that our request for delivery pertained to the tv (the only effing thing we ordered from the company).

UK delivery services lose in my book today.   >:(

Good thoughts for your friend (((hugs)))

Along the same lines, my good friend, who is like a sister, is going for a biopsy tomorrow for a large tumour that is on her hip bone and through the muscle tissue.

I'm still waiting on three separate things that should've arrived at least a week or two ago. Some are UK, some are US, but all are annoying me by now - I keep checking my postbox every day in hope...
Summer 97 - first visited friends in London
99-00 - studied at Uni of Sussex on exchange
Feb 02 - moved to London on BUNAC
Sep 02 - WP granted (IT skills shortage list)
Sep 04 - WP renewed
Sep 06 - WP renewed again (screwed by 4-5 year ILR change)
Sep 07 - ILR!
March 09 - Citizenship!
July 09 - bone marrow transplant :(
18 Sep 10 - wedding!
Mar 12 - half marathon in Paris! 1:47:12!
Oct 12 - Amsterdam FULL marathon! 3:48:23!

I second this.

My IA: Cramps and the cold.  Some days it seems like no matter how warm my flat is, how many layers I have on I still cant warm UP!! ::)

Me, too--healing vibes to them both.

My IA: Cramps
Ditto.

My main IA:  Bye-bye tooth.  :\\\'(  It had to come out today.  It makes me feel old and ugly.  But my dentist has had two out and I think she's beautiful, so there is hope for me once I get a bridge, but that can't be until at least 6 months from now.  :(  Luckily, it's towards the back and won't show under normal conditions.

Related IA:  No hot or cold food tonight.  I really shouldn't even let liquids near the area (which means I really need a straw, which I don't have).  I also am not supposed to talk for the rest of the day!   :(

There comes a time when it's a relief to get the nasty tooth out and get rid of the pain and aggro. And I'm sure you're not old and ugly!! Hope you find a straw, Andee.

Hope that CW's and PB's friends are going to be OK.

You don't need a nasty tooth running your day!  Missing teeth are fine, and there are always fake teeth that help any concerns you might have!

Here's a secret: shhhhh don't tell my fiancee I told you guys!

He has NO teeth.  After being told by his dentist that he had a severe enamel problem and would over time most likely need to have ALL his teeth removed, he simply had them ALL taken out in one swoop!!!!  I guess it makes sense.

He has dentures, and I am the only non-blood relative that has seen him without them!  It's quite humorous when he takes them out! Makes him look like a little old man except with great skin and sparkling blue eyes! lol

So, one tooth isn't the end of the world...and neither are ALL of them!!

BTW- you would NEVER know he had dentures.  Can't tell even when I kiss him!

True after a few days (or so) there will be no more pain and aggravation in that space.  Just a huge gaping hole.  :-\\\\  Seriously though, I'm just being a bit melodramatic.  :)

I can't even begin to imagine the trauma your fiance went through.  :o  Couldn't they just do veneers on all his teeth to protect them?
