True after a few days (or so) there will be no more pain and aggravation in that space.  Just a huge gaping hole.  :-\\\\  Seriously though, I'm just being a bit melodramatic.  :)

My DH has a couple of missing teeth and you can definitely see the gaps when he laughs, but I love his smile and I wouldn't change it for the world. I'm sure you are beautiful, even with a missing tooth!  :-*

My IA... my shoulders are so tight, I feel like I am wearing them for earrings and have no neck. This is ridiculous, and has been going on all week. I think I spend a lot of time hunched over my desk at work.  :-\\\\

Don't wanna pack. The fact that I don't have that much left to do doesn't help much, especially since it's mostly odds and ends (which are a PITA to pack without boxes).

Also don't wanna move, but at least I'll have help with that.

You want a packing buddy? I could come over if you need help

Sigh.  You're singing my song.  I have already gained the max I was supposed to gain (because I started out too heavy) and am only at 27 weeks.   :-\\\\  I'm so frustrated and angry with myself.

Agreed...my husband had to have 3 removed back in November, they're all toward the back and you really don't notice it except for one and we'll look into having that sorted when we get back to the US.

My IA - I have a wicked headache and it's only 7.35am  :\\\'(

Thanks Jewlz.  :-*  But I'm getting that gap bridged as soon as possible--even the pretty witches seem to have all their teeth (Disney witches anyway!).

Sounds like you really need a professional massage.  I highly recommend one!

People who put out those stupid warnings on Facebook which always turn out to be hoaxes. The latest being a warning about Anthrax being sent out to people's homes in Tide sample packets. How about you (not you, but the offending posters) do a little research into seeing if it's a hoax or not? It drives me batty! (so more of just an annoyance in general than an inconvenience really)

My mom and her friends, who are all in their mid-70's, have only recently gotten on the internet, and now they're forwarding all the email warning hoaxes everyone else forwarded each other back in the late 1990's.

I can't count the number of times I've sent her the link to a Snopes page that debunks whatever ridiculous hoax her friends are all spun up about.   :)

Thanks, that's sweet of you! I'm down to the last empty bag and all the "hm, not sure what to do with that, so I'll pack it later" bits, so it shouldn't be too bad.

If you want to come over and chat, though, that'd be fun. :)

My main IA:  Bye-bye tooth.  :\\\'(  It had to come out today.  It makes me feel old and ugly.  But my dentist has had two out and I think she's beautiful, so there is hope for me once I get a bridge, but that can't be until at least 6 months from now.  :(  Luckily, it's towards the back and won't show under normal conditions.

Related IA:  No hot or cold food tonight.  I really shouldn't even let liquids near the area (which means I really need a straw, which I don't have).  I also am not supposed to talk for the rest of the day!   :(
This happened to me back in October :( I got a mini denture to wear back there until I get my bridge. Even though you can't see where the hole would be, knowing that while the denture is there no one will ever be able to tell really helps my self esteem!

Also- you aren't supposed to suck through a straw for at least a week! It could knock out a blood clot & lead to infection. It took me about 4 days before I could start eating normally and a week before it felt comfortable. Hope you feel better soon!

My IA: Worst Jet Lag of my life. It usually takes me a day to sort myself out, but 3 days later and I feel like I am hanging on the edge of the earth/sanity. Just want to sleep and I don't know if I can make it through the rest of work!

Why is it that just as soon as you get one new thing, everything else looks tatty and old.  Well, okay, our couch is tatty and old.  Guess we'll need a new one of those.  Time to start saving again.   :(

Another sick child at home today.  I detest this time of year as I hate to see my girls ill.

No, it is very traumatic getting teeth out -- not just physically but emotionally. They are a part of your body and it is depressing to think part of you no longer functions. Thank goodness it is something you can "replace" and nobody is the wiser.

This is really my son's IA: He was at the nearby Super Stop and Shop the other night where they have a Dunkin Donuts counter. So he went over to get his doughnut fix. As he approached he saw the server leaning against the wall with her shoes off and Picking Her Toes!!  [smiley=sick.gif] He immediately turned on his heels and retreated. (Later he emailed their head office and reported it)
