I hope so. My concern is that they were out of stock of the size 8 last Tuesday, then it was back in stock again on Thursday (when I put the 2 orders in), then out of stock again over the weekend, and now back in stock on Tuesday. So I'm not sure whether they do actually have any, or if all they have is the size 6 and the website is wrong.

Still no sign of it yet today.

Yesterday the tracking said it would be here between 8am and 8pm today (a 12-hour window), but now it says between 8am today and 8 pm tomorrow (a 36-hour window). The tracking was updated at 4am this morning to say it was received at the national depot at 2:05 am. Then it was updated again at 12:23 pm today to say it was received at the national depot at 2:06 am! As far as I can tell, it's still at the national depot.... Edit: actually, it has just updated again and as of 12:23 it is at my local depot.

I'm working nights tonight and tomorrow, so I'll be annoyed if they end up delivering it tomorrow morning when I'm trying to sleep.

Eeek yeah, perhaps they were out of stock on 8's but the 6's have been labelled as 8's so when they are "out of stock" and then back in stock, it means they have been returned but not marked correctly so you're seeing them out of stock, then back in because people returned the 6's.

Okay, so my dress saga is almost resolved, but not quite.

The final order was delivered today around 11:30am (after my night shift), which means I've only had about 3.5 hours of sleep since yesterday morning... and I checked the size as soon as I opened it and it was a size 8 :)!

Then I put it on and realised they'd sent me the regular length, not the short length... which is what I had originally ordered in the first place and had returned on Monday because the short length was supposed to have come back in stock :(.

So, after ordering 2 dresses in size 8 short, I ended up with a size 6 short (right length, but way too tight), a size 8 regular (a better fit, but too long), and a size 10 regular in a different colour (too big, and too long).

I called Coast to complain and the lady I spoke to was really nice. She immediately refunded the £4.99 delivery charge since it didn't arrive on time, and then she looked into what was going on with the incorrect sizes. She said that the stock room had one size 8 short in stock, but that it was likely the case that it was damaged, so they sent the other size(s) instead. She said that she could contact the stock room and check on the state of the dress, and get back to me, but that would take time, and it would still take at least 5 working days to arrive if it was ordered, so it may not arrive in time.

Because of this, she offered a compromise:
if I keep the long dress and get it altered, as long as I have proof of payment, they will refund the cost of the alteration :).

So, I agreed to that (they sent an email confirming the offer) and took the dress into an alterations place this afternoon (as I only have 8 days to get it done!) - they said they can do it by next Thursday... so it's finally looking like things will work out!

I know Coast have been having problems recently, with going into administration and closing stores, so I guess they aren't as on top of things as they used to be, but when I put in the first order last week, I never expected there to be this much drama! If their dresses weren't so nice and didn't fit so well (apart from the length), I wouldn't have bothered :P.

Glad it's nearly over KSand. It's good news that they sent this agreement in a mail and it seems like - even though they've not made it the easiest so far - the customer service seems to be trying to be as helpful and accommodating as they can be, which is nice.

Why do they think paracetamol is effective for pain that sent you to A&E here? I'm not going to talk about how bad today was, but I cannot for the life of me understand why its their solution for everything. Its hard on your stomach and liver, and good for headache & reducing fevers, but not much else. In A&E they wouldn't give me anything else until I took uncoated paracetamol on an empty stomach, while in a gastroparesis & gastritis flare. I have no words for how much more pain I am in now as a result of them not giving a shirt and thinking paracetamol is the best medicine ever. PALS shall be getting a letter from me.

I’m so sorry. Sometimes it boggles me how the answer always seems to be paracetamol.. like no other medicine exists. I hope you are feeling better.

Nope, and can't even take my daily meds because my stomach is so messed up from yesterday :( (thankfully nothing that causes major issues if missing a dose). I have an emergency gyn appointment tomorrow to hopefully get the mirena they put in last week removed, because apparently if they can see the strings there's no emergency and I shouldn't have been told to go to A&E for crippling pain. So.. Still in that pain, plus stomach pain, and furious that I spent the day in A&E for an appointment the out of hours doctor who sent me there could have scheduled.

I saw the emergency OB clinic today, they took it out and that particular pain is gone. I live with enough pain, adding to it on a permanent basis was not going to happen! They tried telling me to live with it a bit longer, when it was severe enough it was keeping me from being able to drive. Yeah, totally something to "live with".

So glad they were able to remove it for you!  You know your body better than anyone else.  Don't let them talk you into any more nonsense.

I saw my gastro today. Seeing that my CT scan and endoscopy was clear and my symptoms haven't resolved, she diagnosed me with SIBO so I'm starting on Flagyl tonight for 2 weeks. I'm excited that I could be cured in just a couple of weeks.

And I had my bloods done today.  I'm concerned about my iron again because I'm starting to crave ice and boiled eggs again.  That is my first indicator that something is amiss.
