Not sure if folks saw this, but they've updated the processing times based on visas processed in September:
newcomer link: https://visa-processingtimes.homeoffice.gov.uk/y/united-states/settlement-visas/settlement [nonactive]

Looks like it got stretched out a bit, again.

Type: Settlement (Spouse; income route; non-priority)
Received/Signed by UKVI: August 12
Email "being prepared for consideration": September 21

So crazy! Mine was received July 11th a month before yours but i got my confirmation on Sept 20th, a day after you....what does that mean? Just don't get it in terms of the time frame for finally getting a decision.

Doesn't mean anything - we don't know how they are putting them through the system.

Okay, so the new processing times are for September, which means the August ones are missing completely - they've skipped over them.

As a reminder, for July:
78% in 30 working days
100% in 60 working days.

And for September:
72% in 30 working days
96% in 60 working days.
100% in 90 working days.

So those last 4% issued in 90 working days would have been submitted to Sheffield sometime during June.

That doesn't mean that all the June applications have been processed, it just means that of the decisions made in September, the ones that took the
longest were submitted in June.

Thank you. I was just checking yesterday and it hadn't changed. This gives us a bit more hope that they are just so crazy busy. Thank you again

I'm so confused over this.
I'm in day 64 and nothing. So why are still saying 100% in 60 working days? It makes more sense to be 100% in 90 days.

🙏🙏🙏

It's not saying that - I posted a reminder of the July processing times. That is, the length of time it took to process all the visas decisions made during July.

So 100% of the decisions made in July were made in 60 working days... I.e. people who applied in May got their visas in July.

Now, of all the decisions made in September, 100% of them were decided in 90 working days... So those people who had to wait 90 working days would have applied in June.

You applied in July and are still waiting for your decision so your decision will likely be part of either the October or November processing times, depending on when you get the decision.

Not only that but there is such conflicting info about when the clock starts.  While it's interesting to look at, it tells us nothing.

And since priority and non-priority are lumped together...

It's the beauty of statistics.  You can always manipulate them to 'fit' what you are trying to prove.
