Very happy for you both.  I have been in England a week today and I feel positively serene.

I wonder if all those decisions came through quickly because it was the end of the month and they were trying to get their processing statistics up... it could be that we don't get much movement for the next week or so and then there'll be another rush of decisions in a couple of weeks as we get to the end of June.

I wasn't around for feb & march priority applications.  Was there more consistenty or similar bursts of decisions at one time?

No, there wasn't, but back then the processing times hadn't noticeably increased yet and the backlog was only just starting to build.

In early February, priority was taking just 2-3 days and by the end of February it was only a couple of weeks, so there was no need to rush to complete the applications by the end of the month because the processing times were fast anyway

My theory was only really in relation to them trying to make it look like processing statistics were still on target, instead of being massively backlogged.

Makes sense.  I didn't get my decision email until June 1, but noticed my letter was dated May 30, so yeah, it would have been counted with May approvals.

Absolute waste of 10 quid to hear its still awaiting approval and there is nothing more she can see and unfortunately you just have to wait. Just another dagger in the back from the UKVI

I don't like regular calling charges. If an business is going to make me pay for the privilege of speaking to them, I'm not going to do it.

But what they have here is a goldmine. A captive audience of people desperate to get some answers and hearing the sort of non-information that they are getting away with feeding people is making me quite angry.

Do we need a sticky warning people about this?

Hi y'all! Slightly settled in over here. Been cleaning the "flat" and multiple trips to grocery just to try new things :)

We have to travel to Poland soon and I know I need to take my BRP card with me for re entry but I had a question about travel. So I know with being a US citizen I'm only allowed in the EU for 90 days of 180, is this still true? Do I need to still keep track to make sure I don't go over 90? Or is there something that states bc I'm on a U.K. Settlement visa that (for now) its waived?

Thanks my extended visa family :)

Your settlement visa is only related to UK immigration, not to the immigration rules of any other country in the EU.

So, as a US citizen, you are still restricted by the visitor visa rules of each individual EU country you enter. Since Poland is in the Schengen Zone, you will be under Schengen Zone visitor rules which is 90 days in every half-year.

That's what I thought, thank you. I keep a rolling spreadsheet of all my travel, I'm not close to my 90 days but I wanted to make sure now that we will be traveling more since I'm over here.
