Your job most definitely is awesome!! That sounds so incredibly cool! I feel like there isn't enough space in my brain to even begin to comprehend thaaaaat much weather-based information (or Science in general...I definitely was not a shining start in math/science classes lol) so I am envious of you! I'm lucky when I can watch a science-based documentary and follow it from start to finish without sayin "whaaaaaat?! F****n' Science, man! I'ts INCREDIBLE!". Well done to you!

Ksand, those photos are wonderful!  I have a nicer point-and-click camera that can take a descent picture but I am nowhere near as good.  Very cool.  And I second the jealousy over all the travel you get to do with your job!

There were lots of birds at our campsite

Got my latest photos from Aerial Hoops in! I can see the progress I'm making already! :D

And my Pole Fitness instructor has advised that once I get back from holiday at the end of July, she reckons I should move up to the next level of classes as I'm on the next level of skill! Love finding a hobby that is fun but also exercise!

No idea what it's for as we don't use it hah. It's probably to adjust the top of the hoop (like if you want to tighten or take it down or something as you'd probably be at risk doing that from the pole itself lol).

As for men taking it, I've had a guy in my Pole fitness class but not my Aerial Hoops but there are different nights it's on and different levels so it's very possible. Nobody would give you a weird look or anything if you were a man looking to join a class or anything :)

They would certainly give me a wierd look if I were to do the "show your belly button " move you've got going in the last one.  They'd be fighting for the exits.

LOL You can tuck your shirt in haha. Surprisingly (sarcasm LOL), it's shockingly painful holding yourself up with one one knee-hook so my shirt unfortunately was the last thing on my mind. That and (between that and pole class) you get so comfortable with the people around you, you stop caring what you look like hah

Scarily, I almost forgot completely about July 4th. I have somebody coming to cut my hair and my husband's hair before we go to the US for this wedding and she said she can do "Tuesday the 4th" and I was like yeahhh that's fine. Told my husband and he was like "4th of July?" and then it all clicked. We don't do anything here for 4th of July. There are expat celebrations happening but as we are going to the US that following weekend, I'm just focusing on being packed and sorted for that.

I've never done something ex/pat related, Some years I've taken a day off to show my independence and done what I want.  Except this year I can't do what I really want (go to a French beAch that is huge) because the numpty I am going with doesn't have a passport.
