Anyone else start The Umbrella Academy? I'm watching it on my own because my husband doesn't like supernatural things but really enjoying it so far!

I just finished it! I really liked it, and 💓 the soundtrack. I kind of want to pick up the graphic novel.
I've got that one added to my list on netflix.

We watched the first episode of Russian Doll with lunch today but I'm honestly not sure if I like it or not. I laughed at a few things towards the end but the beginning half I just felt couldn't hold my interest. It's totally like her character from OITNB but my husband and I didn't like that. We like her character in OITNB but we didn't like that she was basically playing the same type of person.
I tried watching it too, only got 40 minutes in before I stopped it. One of my co-workers said it gets good a few episodes in. So will probably give it a chance. Just maybe not... Right now.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Yes we started watching it tonight. It's really good (at least on first impressions). Based on Gerard Way's comic from a good few years ago and it's really a hard one to turn into a series I think so I think they've been doing a good job from what I've seen so far.

Regarding Russian Doll, I think Lyone's physical comedy is great. I read where she is a big fan of Dice Clay and I remember when watching it expecting her to do that lighter flipping thing whenever she fumbled around with a cigarette. Just the way she hunches her shoulders and moves around
I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC

It's only like 20 minutes in and there's already a kidnapping!

I noticed they've got that Kat & Alfie spin-off,  Redwater.  Not that I'm reccommending it -- it's pretty poor!

I already gave it a thumbs down on my account without even watching it. The half episode I managed to tolerate when it was on tv was enough!

Really poor!

I watched the whole of the first ridiculous series... but whatever happened to the 2nd series?  That was never shown on cooncil telly, was it?  If it was, I completely missed it...

There was only one season according to IMDB so if S2 had been planned, it looks like it was cancelled... unsurprisingly!

Well, I'm guessing that she made it because she's now back on the Square!  ;) ;D

Yes, and Alfie has discovered the wonders of Grecian Formula, as he's almost pure grey in Redwater, and when last seen in EE, he was back to brown hair!
