I thought I was only gone for a week, but apparently I missed Christmas?!

The prodigal returneth. Updates: I flew from the east coast of the US with my wedding dress as my carry on (in a bright purple leopard print garment bag), had the nicest border agent at Glasgow, have succeeded in crying about table plans, table centers, and the ceilidh, have organized our kitchen to display both my Denby halo gravy boat and my plastic Nessie soup ladles, and eaten Chinese takeaway twice already. Let the wedding celebrations commence!

After this weekend, I'd like to know more about the volunteering rules too. I've heard mixed things.

Yay, Charlie! you're back!  ;D  It's not been the same without you!  :D

Maybe we could talk about those nasty visa rules in another thread?
It's lovely having this one just for fun and nonsense!  ;D

Awww! You two are the cutest. I am working on another baby blanket, after finishing many other projects that had been sitting there waiting for the ends to be sewn in and made a hat (that i have to pick up buttons to finish). And trying to get caught up at work after a very sick week since I'm finally feeling almost human again.

Look forward to seeing the baby blanket when it's finished! Sorry you've been unwell this week. Hard having to catch up when still not feeling good.

It's storytime this morning! :) Then to gym for Beth's induction...

I think it's the different time zones CharlieB. An anthem to welcome you back

I was beginning to worry we weren't getting our wedding invites  :P

Keep the updates coming! It sounds like you're about on track with the wedding weeping.

I'm half way through my triathlon training now. I'm raising money for Mind Out LGBTQ mental health peer led project. They are an excellent charity and were a huge support to me through some very challenging years. If anyone would like to sponsor me (and has any money left to do so after the visa process!) send me a PM on here and I will send you the Just Giving link. I am really looking for lots of small donations of a couple of pounds.

Charlie... when you have your FLR (M) would you consider volunteering with Meal Makers? They are based out of Glasgow and desperately need more volunteers.

Gorgeous day today. Makes three long months of waiting torment feel worthwhile. Thinking of everyone still waiting and hoping you'll be feeling like this very soon.

Yay!  ;D Glad it went well!  ;D

This is a Margo's explanation of how to post a pic. :)

"If you have a smart phone and the Tapatalk app you can do it right from the post menu. If you're in the quick reply, hit the +. Then either hit the camera to take a photo or the landscape icon to choose one from your library. Otherwise you have to put it somewhere like flikr first. "
