-Take your time.
-Don't be afraid to put it down and come back to it later.
-Go up in paper size.     I got 1.5 x out of an A4 sheet.

Anyone else struggling a bit today? Honestly, I feel spoiled, because I just got a whole week with my husband...and I figured I'd be distracted because of the eclipse, but it just seems to be underlining the fact that I'll be doing yet another thing solo.

Sorry to be Pollyanna about it, but I guess if you were already here, you'd be watching it on You Tube like we are now, and then you would have one less real life awesome experience to share when you finally get reunited. Or if that doesn't help, like Larrabee says you could make Russ's origami frog! Glad you got time together, but know it can just make it even tougher when you separate again.

Uh oh karaoke and knitting is slipping away!

I might have to quote some of the inspirational anthems and wild ideas from this  thread before it is lost forever 

In the meantime, I am fast approaching my last week of fun triathlon training, which I would NOT have done right now if it had not been for the stress of the wait and the exceptional support here. So it logically follows that you all have to be there at least virtually to cheer me on through this last week to the finishing line, right?

Yes that's quite enough getting married and honeymooning CharlieB, there are anthems to be written, frogs to be origameed and glitter cakes to be shared, not to mention the playdough festival at KF's house! BTW did I miss Larrabee's latest origami project or are we STILL waiting

I think we are still waiting for larrabee's latest origami.  But we're also waiting for her pass-the-parcel selection.  Let's start a fund to buy her a new computer.
