Sparklywater,
Same for me. I applied through TLS. Last time I received an email from Sheffield. This time I didn't receive any email from them, but the tracking on TLS website changed for "received by UKVI"...

Take a break from the forum, and try and forget about it - there's almost no chance it'll be here in the next 2/3 weeks so no use obsessing (easier said than done, right?).

I didn't get the receipt acknowledgement email from UKVI until day 2 - so perhaps yours is slightly delayed.

@seamustio Okay thanks alot for the advice! I should just not look at the tracker for the next 3 weeks 😅😅

@Katie_France we both applied around the same time at the TLS centre 😁😁 I hope we both get it sooon in a month's time 😁😁 Do u also feel anxiety like maybe you missed a document or maybe you made a mistake? Is that normal?

@Sparklywater
I wouldn't expect to get it in a month time because both of us applied out of the US. Last time I applied in mid November, it took 2 months (43 BD) with priority. Now Easter holidays are coming, so I wouldn't expect anything soon.
Anxiety is normal... After my horrible experience in TLS Paris, I couldn't sleep the whole night. And I am really demotivated to do anything. however, that's what I really should do. To keep me very busy, and not to wait for anything soon.

Seems like last week UKVI at Sheffield was hard at work. Glad to see so many of you hearing back on your applications.

Just a quick questions , do you county from the biometrics appointment day or from the day application was received in Sheffield?

I'm currently on 28 BD from biometrics appointment but only 20 BD from when the application received email was sent.

Online Application Submitted: 29 January 2018 (Priority)
Biometrics Appointment: 1 Feb 2018
Application was Sent: 9 Feb 2019
UKVI Application received Email: 13 Feb 2018
Decision Email:
Docs/Passport Returned:

You count from the day you received the confirmation email from Sheffield... because that is the day Sheffield log your application into the system and start their processing time count.

In other countries you submit your documents at the biometrics appointment, so it makes sense to count from that date in those countries... but in the US you mail your documents yourself after attending biometrics.

Since Sheffield have no control over how long it takes you to mail the documents, it wouldn’t make sense for them to include that time in their processing time calculation.
