So after receiving a email from sheffield asking to send my supporting documents yesterday I sent them today.

I feel like the only one this has ever happened to.... is there no one that knows of anyone with a similar experience?
What if they say that they haven't received them again? :(

Whats your timeline?

When exactly did you send your initial documents?

Did you mail the documents or sent them an e-mail with the documents scanned?

I mailed my documents on the 3rd of october. They were received on the 4th and sent back on the 6th of october. I received them on the 7th accompanied by a letter that copies had been taken.

Then yesterday i get this email:

We are in receipt of your UK Visa Application however we are yet to receive your UK sponsor supporting documentation. Without these documents we are unable to make a full consideration of your application. Can you please ensure that your UK sponsor submits the documentation to the below address within 10 working days of this email.

There were 2, right at the beginning of October I believe, that were approved in 2 and 3 days. Total flukes aimed at padding their stats in Sheffield I'm sure, but I think those are the only 2 approvals from October so far.

Thank you for this information.
Our lawyer said it was taking 15-20 working days, and I saw on a different board that people who didn't pay priority around my same time line were getting theirs in only 28 days! Ugh. This whole process has been so stressful.... trying to stay positive, but it's getting hard 😭

It may seem like it's taking a long time now but people who applied in early summer were waiting a lot longer! This is a good time to be applying.  :)

I'm really not familiar with the process from Pakistan.  Do you mail the documents to Sheffield directly or are they presented at the TLS appointment?  If you mailed them, did you send them Special Delivery?

In Pakistan, the applicant hands over their application forms, passport and any other documents they are including at the appointment - these are either then forwarded to Sheffield or scanned in and emailed to Sheffield. Then the sponsor mails their supporting documents directly to Sheffield from inside the UK.

I would take a screenshot of the tracking that says it has been signed for and print it our for your records, you never know, it may come in handy. All you can now do is sit and wait.

I sent everything off from here, the wife went to her Biometrics in Islamabad, did her Biometrics, submitted the passport and that was that. I did the rest from here. I got the documents back after 2 weeks of the solicitor sending them off accompanied by a letter from Sheffield.

I did everything the same.... they copied documents and sent them back to me accompanied by the letter.... but then 4 weeks later i get the email saying they havent received them.... maybe the copies got misplaced or something....
