Even though that comment wasnt to me I needed to hear it today. I'm at 56 days today over on the non priority thread and getting so anxious!

Same to you kerinay, try not to worry.  :) You are most likely at this point to get your result either just before or just after the 60 day mark.

Any day now! I’m hoping you hear this week
I looked at your past posts and it's at 54 business days from the date you received your email that they had your application.

Hold tight, you are nearly there!!

Even though you are non-priority, it is unlikely to go (much) past 60 business days for a February application.  Summer applications will likely stretch much MUCH longer.
It goes from the date u receive the email. Ughh wow... I never want to do this process again lol too stressful..

It does, unfortunately.  Nothing worse than losing a week in the blink of an eye!

Read about you missing out on a job.  Hopefully there is an even better job waiting in the wings.   :D

That is long for priority but not unheard of. When did you get the application received email, that is when you should be counting your days from if you applied from the US? Did you mark the outside of your package with priority as instructed and have the priority  receipt on the top of your documents?

I didn't mark the outside as Priority (missed that instruction...bummer) but I did put the priority slip on the top.  Hope it doesn't get lost!! :-[

That VFSGlobal website is worse than the UKVI site.  :-\\\\

But this is the instruction.

Quote
You must write ‘Settlement Priority Service’ in very large letters on the front and back of the outermost envelope of your visa application. This means the exterior UPS envelope. Please note that failure to follow this direction may result in your application not being identified and handled as priority. In addition, please ensure that you place your settlement priority service purchase receipt on top of your application documents inside your envelope.

With any luck they will open the application sooner rather than later so you don't end up in the np pile.

Oh lovely!  That just moves the stress meter to a very uncomfortable place!  Besides the money it's the anxiety that comes with not knowing which "pile" I'm in.  I may have to have an extra beverage tonight!
