Priority Spouse Visa FALL Timeline (Oct-Dec)

That's such good news, it makes me hopeful that we will receive ours soon! We are 17 bd from biometrics appt, and 22 from the date of app submitted.

The only strange thing is that we didn't get an email confirmation that our application had been received until 13 September... but reading this forum makes me think that's not that big of a deal?

Email - app received/being prepped by ECO: 15 Aug 2018

I skyped my hubs and woke him up so we could open the parcel together. I am beyond ecstatic and totally broke down in tears when I saw that vignette! What a relief!

That seems to be pretty normal for the Premium Settlement Gold Service, from what we’ve seen.

For those not using the Gold service the processing count starts from the date of the email/arrival in Sheffield, but as you submitted the documents in person, your processing count should start from the biometrics date.

Collected the BRP today. It's finally over. Time to start preparing for renewal!!

If we wanted to move to the US, how problematic would that be under current US rules when we've both been living in the UK -- and what's the solution?! Want to think ahead now we know what a minefield this can be.
