I just got my decision made email!!!!! I had just checked my email minutes before and nothing. Left my email page open on my laptop and started making my bed. Turned around and looked at my laptop a few minutes later and saw the emails there!!! I'm feeling an approval coming on!!

Thank you! It seems they are moving much more quickly now. Summer is the busy season so I guess the worst is over. So, I would think as long as your application is straightforward, you should likely get a quick response. I can't see why you wouldn't be there for Christmas! Good luck with everything!

Hi everyone! I just checked tracking and it says my package is scheduled to be delivered by 3 PM now!! Originally it said by the end of the day today. I am definitely feeling nervous and had some total freak out moments over the weekend. I guess I'll be let off the hook soon, one way or another!

Ha! Thanks! But I just woke up an hour ago. LOL! I've got a couple of appointments today so I'll keep myself busy in the meantime.

I just got a refund email from UKVI for processing my priority as standard. I thought it was going to take 6 months, but it came in no time.

Usually they just try to dismiss refund requests with the usual line about how nothing is guaranteed and circumstances beyond their control and etc. and etc. and etc.  So happy for you that this wasn't the case. 

I got my visa!!!! I'm in!! Woo hoo! UPS was running 3 hours later than the promised time which nearly killed me. But all that matters is the final outcome!!   

Here's my final timeline:
Online app submitted: 6 Aug 2018
Biometrics & Docs sent: 9 Aug 2018
UPS delivery to Sheffield: 13 Aug 2018
Email - app received/being prepped by ECO: 15 Aug 2018
Decision made email: 14 Sep 2018
Documents returned: 17 Sep 2018
APPROVED!!

27 BD from biometrics!
23 BD from app received email!!

I skyped my hubs and woke him up so we could open the parcel together. I am beyond ecstatic and totally broke down in tears when I saw that vignette! What a relief!

So so so soooooo many thanks to those whom have helped along the way... @larrabee @ksand24 @KFdancer ... You are all total angels to spend your time helping all of us through this process. I 100% could NOT have done this successfully without you. Shouts out to @Aquila @jfkimberly @TeamTollie @mk191192 for helping and encouraging as well.
