I have read people saying previously they've gotten rejections before they've gotten their documents back...but then other people are telling me that's not the case. Can someone confirm?

I haven’t heard that before in relation to settlement visas (for other types of visa, they tell you the decision in the email).

Not sure how it’s working now that everything goes through New York, but in the past, everything (passport and documents) arrived back in one package and you didn’t know whether it was an approval or a refusal until you opened the package and checked.

I actually had the thought, "I can't leave until all of my Black Friday shopping arrives."

Oh okay! I thought I had read threads where people had said they had been rejected but they didn't know why and were waiting on their packages for more information.

Can I ask what email address they are coming from? Is it a generic info email address? Just want to make sure I have it in my safe senders list!
