No idea. In my 12 years on this forum, I have never heard of anything happening after a decision has been made.

Once a decision is made, that’s it, your passport and documents are returned to you within a couple of days.

The only thing I can think of is that someone has looked at your application and has referred it to someone else for further review.... but that would happen before a decision is made, not after.

As you have not yet received your official ‘decision made’ e-mail, I would assume that a decision has not yet been made and that they are still processing it.

My advice:
Be patient and stop emailing and calling the ‘enquiry centre’ - you’re just wasting your money.

Remember the people you are calling and emailing are NOT UKVI employees.  They are a third party provider and don't physically have access to your application.  All they can do is type your application number into a system and interpret what it says.

We had a member recently swear up and down and all around that her child's application was approved as every time she called they said a decision was made.  She didn't receive the *actual* decision email for a couple of months.  And the date on the visa was the date she received the email - the call centre was 100% wrong all those times she called/emailed.

Just when I thought I could put it out of my mind for the weekend (its our anniversary today and we're celebrating by going on a short stay somewhere out of the city) I just got the "a decision has been made" email from Sheffield!  :o

That's great news! I'm dying for our decision email. We are wanting to put in our notice for work so badly.

I'm going to update my signature/timeline, but basically I sent the documents to New York no the 26th January as a priority application, but received a fairly late  "application is being prepared for ECO" email on 1st March. They requested additional info on 5th March, and today they've finally made their decision!

Consider that good news then put it out of your mind and enjoy your trip!  :)

Thank you! We certainly will (thought I suspect this will be in the back of our minds until we physically open the package from New York)
