couldn't get any thousand island dressing to dip

I've never made it, but surely Thousand Island is just ketchup & mayonnaise with some horrible chunky stuff like burger relish added in?

A quick search suggests you nailed it.  I found this recipe, and the concept sounds like the flavour I remember:  https://www.kitchentreaty.com/homemade-thousand-island-dressing/

I love hummus, but I can see why people might find it boring, or something.  If "boring" is why you're not a massive fan, look for jalapeno and red pepper flavoured hummus.  It's not massively hot (or even hot at all), but the flavour makes it much more interesting.  I'll eat plain hummus, so I'm not the best judge, but do try the flavoured stuff.

I got red pepper flavoured. I think, for me, it's the texture.

Yep. The only hummus I can eat is the red pepper flavored one. I think it’s more of a roasted red bell pepper, than a hot red pepper.

I won't even try to change your mind, then.  I totally get texture aversions.  My husband doesn't get it, but I totally do.... and this is why he likes aubergine, and I never will.

I honestly don't even know what about the texture I don't like as I like other things with similar textures. I just can't put my finger on it. it's basic ingredients that I don't even mind!

I would guess it's the slightly mealy texture.  Hummus isn't smooth.  It can be like eating an overripe tomato, which is soooo disappointing when you're expecting a good one with a smooth texture.  I feel the same way about some apples, and the one time I tried a pear.  In fact, I won't go near applesauce, which I think has the same texture.  But I like hummus... I can't explain that!

Oh, I do too! I can't eat the M&S chestnut stuffing at Christmas time (have to get it elsewhere) because the texture is all wrong, it almost feels gritty to me!

Depends on what you call healthy.  ;)  What's healthy to one person is different to another and we all have different diets.

Me, I make lots of lean meat or fish or vegetarian meals, all veggie packed, with carbs.   I do stir fries, pasta dishes, fish or meat with potatoes or rice and three veggie sides, chilli, curries, Heck or MOR sausages with sweet potato mash, Instant Pot or slow cooker stews, kebabs almost exactly like Jimboz, burgers and Actifry chips,  etc, etc.  If a meal takes me more than 10 minutes to prep and get cooking (some nights I have longer than others so cook times can vary, usually around the 25 minute cook time mark) , than, forgetaboutit.
Hubby cooks several times a week and he cooks things like steak and Actifry chips, oven baked fish and Actifry chips, curries,  pasta dishes, stir fries, and homemade pizza.
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

I should've specified that I don't eat seafood :( That, I think, might have helped to give me loads more of healthy ideas!
