Yes, I have noticed that too. There is a lot that needs clarifying.

Has OP been able to find an appointment? I just went to book the premium service and there's nothing available in any of the offices. Came immediately here to check and lo and behold this was the first post. Really unhappy about this. I got my FLR with a premium appointment and it was so easy and straightforward. Now I'm a bit lost as to doing it by post.

Unfortunately not.
It has been tricky for most of this year but people have been managing after perhaps a week of trying. Now it seems that it's harder than ever.

This is all really bumming me out, and feels completely out of my control...my own fault - sure wish I'd known about this site a year ago when I THOUGHT I was eligible, but I could not find anything confirming this online...

You should keep trying. Someone on another board (yes, I do that!) has reported some slots appearing for 1st October but nothing after that. However, you are only just within the 45 day window so it may be that further dates will become available.

Nearly two weeks of waking up in the middle of the night, getting up before 6am...no joy...has ANYONE secured an appointment in the last few weeks/days?

What dates are you looking for? As I said above apparently there were some for 1st October earlier today.

Hi again. Was really sad about no appointments being available last night so prescribed myself to check often. Got to work this morning and checked... by some fluke Glasgow had appointments for the 1st October. Got myself an appointment. Mind you I live nowhere near Glasgow (live in Worcestershire) but booked it anyway for peace of mind. The hubs and I will make a long vacation weekend out of it. OP please keep trying. I checked around 8:30am today.  :o

Congratulations on getting a spot - I've been looking all last night and all morning and day today - no luck for me at any of the centres...I keep thinking I'm somehow not on the right site, but I can't imagine I am...I live in Herefordshire/work in Worcestershire!

-What time in the morning were you able to find a spot??

It just happened AGAIN! It is after midnight and some spots came up for start of October - not even sure which centre as I have been doing this so endlessly for so long...and AGAIN it just hung and then crashed and I never saw openings again. I don't understand this. I don't see how I can stop the site from hanging and crashing on the VERY rare times I've even had a glimpse of a date...really getting discouraged. I'm supposed to be on my annual leave, but I just endlessly sit in front of my laptop screen going through the centres over and over again...only for it to prove impossible anyway!

Could it be something to do with your computer or your browser perhaps?

Thank you - yup, I'm indeed using the correct useless site...

...as for the browser - I'm currently using Chrome - and it has generally worked fine - both times I have had a glimpse of dates, it has hung and then the site has crashed - it appears to me to be the site itself, but if anyone has any additional suggestions...?
