He's being seen by the GP at 3pm.  We shall see...  I'll keep you guys posted.  Thanks for caring!

We got the good ole NHS stamp of "it's a virus".

Just hoping that's what it truly is.  My mommy gut isn't overly satisfied but I'd LOVE to be wrong.  I would feel MUCH better if they would do an x-ray.  But....   :-\\\\

Well that's pants. Especially given his recent history.  Trust your Mom instincts if he gets worse, for sure. But I don't need to tell you that.

I will.  He's been asleep for nearly 24 hours.  If he is still lethargic tomorrow or has dry nappies, I'm just going to go to A&E.  I have a lot of guilt from Florida and genuinely feel as though I should have taken him to the hospital 24 hours earlier.  I'm not making that same mistake again....

Do you have a dedicated children's hospital near you?

If you feel he needs to go to A&E, then you are the best judge. xxx

I do hope he is better by tomorrow. If not, definitely A&E! Sending hugs.

His chest doesn't sound as bad today as it did yesterday, so that's something.  He is currently awake, but lots of yawns.  I suspect he'll be back to bed soon.  He's basically been asleep since Tuesday at 6pm.

That is good to hear. Is it worth trying the surgery again today?

He has refused water this morning.  He's back in bed now.  If he refuses water again when he wakes, I'm not messing around anymore!
