A guy from work is bringing me some champagne yeast and nutrient.... I'm getting ready for my very first try at making elderflower wine!  I'm using the River Cottage recipe -- any tips/advice welcomed!!

Awesome! My 2 biggest tips are clean and sanitise everything and use bottles that can withstand the pressure of the fizz (otherwise, shrapnel explosions!).
Have fun  ;D

I'd actually prefer it to be still wine, rather than fizzy... how could I make that happen?

I'd use wine yeast, rather than champagne yeast then and less sugar. :)

This recipe looks decent for wine:

As I had to return to life outside of jamjams for the school run last week, I realised my jeans have shrunk.  Haven’t had any alcohol since.   ::)

And a few more I already had in the fridge.

It's boyf's birthday on Saturday- I got him a mixed case of Omnipollo!

2 cans of Omnipollo Bianca Blueberry Maple Pancake Lassi Gose have appeared in my fridge!
OH got them for £10 each as they were out of date!!!  ;D

Yes, we are no longer in quarantine, but that guy is still stockpiling beer.  Did I mention he was a bit obsessive??
