So on her biometrics form, they provided a link straight to VFS for shipment: bit.ly/2PBFHqG

And there is the $793.00 for the priority service, but do we also select the round trip courier? If we just do the priority service, will that just have the labels we need to print?

Also, I know she asked about two different weight options: a 3lb and 5lb. Is that on the next screen if you are selecting the 'round trip courier'?

Just to add there is only 'round trip shipping' at $70.00. Theres no option for different weights or paying more for a 5lb package

There is the return courier at $41.00 which we are ignoring and the premium centre at $1900.

I can’t actually click on that link as it doesn’t seem to be active.

If you purchase the priority service, you will get a receipt for it that you place on top of your documents. The priority service is just for someone to put your application in the priority line once it arrives with UKVI - it has nothing to do with actually shipping your documents.

For shipping, you can either select the round-trip courier (UPS shipping labels both ways) or the return courier only (UPS return shipping but you have to sort out your own outbound shipping with UPS).

You select the shipping option and weight you want and add it to the cart.

Both the priority service and all the shipping options are here:
https://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/us/en/premium-services
(Select USA - Application Support Centre for the options)

It works here, but here is where it re-directs to: https://mycart.vfsglobal.co.uk/usashoppingcart/pages/authorization.aspx

So then after entering the information, you add to cart: priority service and then the shipment, but it is only the $70.00 version.

Basically we should just go through the process you outlined above?

Also when I select USA – Application Support Centre and then go to Priority settlement  for migration service is has a yellow warning saying Not available at USA-Application Support Centre?

Is that a known error?

Okay, that link is directing me to the old VFS Global website, which is no longer used!

It doesn’t say that it’s unavailable when I go to the link I gave you above.

It lets me add it and any of the shipping options to my cart with no issues:

Ahhhh!! I see. We are currently trying to remove her application from that link. FYI that bit.ly link was included in her official documentation. Clearly not updated it to the new website.

Yeah I am just seeing that now too, not sure why it said that to me before.

Okay, so hopefully we can remove her from the old link and do it the new way. She doesn't have to attend her biometrics first right before paying for this?

So we are at the same section, as @CornishCowboy in regards to asking us to upload documents after registering, so we are stalled at the moment.

Not entirely sure what we need to do. I e-mailed support, but looks like they have crappy support.

There is the bit.ly/2PBFHqG /  https://mycart.vfsglobal.co.uk/usashoppingcart/pages/authorization.aspx old link, that appears to just let us order the postage.

Because of this unknown issue with VFS asking to upload documents, even though we are posting them to New York.

We are thinking of using this to pay for the priority:
https://mycart.vfsglobal.co.uk/usashoppingcart/pages/authorization.aspx

I know thats an older link, but it gets round the document issue and the issue some people are having with the password protected receipt.

Then either using it for the postage as well. Or my spouse will just go to UPS and pay for the return postage there

Thoughts? Its so damn annoying since we are so close!!

Other people have got around the upload issue by just uploading a self-made PDF that says they are mailing the documents to New York.

I'm not sure I'd risk using that link, since the old site isn't used anymore and I'm not sure if it will actually give you the correct service.

I know, the issue is though with the password protected receipt though. Dont know how we could get round accessing that.

Her appointment is next wednesday so we do have time if anyone gets back to us or someone else has gone through the process,

I've just posted on CornishCowboy's thread as well, asking if they managed to sort it.

On the VFS old site, you could download your priority receipt from your account instead of your email, so I wonder if that is a possibility?

Oh thank you :)

You mean that it’s almost like an inbox after completing the purchase you can re-download it from there if you deleted it by accident?

I think so - I could never see that part of the site because to access it, I would have to have a valid GWF number, but I remember other people saying there was an option to reprint receipts/shipping labels after you had purchased them. Not sure whether that's still the case with the new site or not though.

Yeah there is that option in the old site. Just before we purchased, we logged out and logged in. It gave you options to re-print the recipet.

The issue I imagine CornishCowboy is having is the PDF is password protected. So when you open it, there is a lock logo and will request a password there. Rather than a password to download it.

Also, not discounting your credibility, but does it say anywhere that the old link is now dead and shouldn't be used?
