DH says it gives him a chili-gasm.  He feels like lying back & needs to breathe fresh air afterwards, cos he gets all sweaty & flushed from eating it (and his nose all runny) - but that it's a good rush!  :D

I love that feeling! Man, that sounds great. I'm not sure my DH could handle all those chiles, though! Maybe I could ease him into it.  :)

Not like the time we served you guys kallaloo with birds eye chillies for essence and I forgot to remove one that he found!  :o Scared to invite you over again - I have no spice control mechanism.

(Normally, I leave them in and grind them, seeds and all - I like the torture!  :P)

The more chilis the better!

I'd be a big fan of this curry I think:

For some reason, the spice-heat in curries occasionally gets to me, but the spice-heat in chili rarely ever does.  I don't understand why?  Whenever I'm feeling poorly, DH inevitably makes a hot curry - thinking he's going to burn the germs out of me or something, but generally I can't bear to eat it then and/or if I do, I end up feeling sicker.

That's weird. A really spicy curry usually helps clear my sinuses if I'm sick, though it's kind of gross because I need a box of tissues nearby while i eat.  :-X :-X

Have talked the hubster into getting us a takeaway from the chippie on his way home!  Meaning I don't have to cook tonight - score!  I wasn't really in a cooking mood, and I'm also really craving fish & chips & mushy peas.

I've settled on burgers and chips. I got some of those tomato and basil burgers since I have some mozzarella cheese to use up. I'm also going to recreate a tomato salad I had the other week. I bought a mixture of various types (and colors) of tomatoes which I'll cut in large chunks and mix with feta and basil, salt, pepper, and a bit of olive oil. The original had black olives, but I think they're gross, so I'm leaving them out!

I don't know how you people handle that much chili heat!  I accidentally bit into some kind of a green chili thinking it was just a normal green pepper, in a curry and I almost barfed in the restaurant it was so disturbingly hot.  My face turned bright red too and I had to drink more than half a pitcher of lassi for it to go away.

The red face is all part of the fun!  [smiley=blush.gif]

Breakfast for dinner! Sausage, biscuits and gravy!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I'm making my Super Nachos. I've not made them here...I've not made them in about 5 years (the last time I watched a Super Bowl) but I figured World Cup USA v. England was as good a time as any.
