Leftover fish pie.  It was sooo good last night.  We're pretty chuffed at how well it turned out!  :)

I'm making a special meal tonight  [smiley=love.gif]

Starter: Potato Soup - 'cause my friend gave me boatloads of their homegrown potatoes and I just had gotten tons in my veg box

Main: Wild Deer Fillets, Chorizo- Saffron Rice, Purple Broccoli, and Curly Kale

Afters: Warm Apple Sauce with Vanilla Ice Cream

Posh Wine to drink

I'm even going to set the table for us...
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

I am sad and therefore comfort cooking. I have a fresh Peach and Blueberry pie in the oven to use my new pie plate, the filling tasted amazing (yes I snuck some!) as I had some vanilla sugar, and grated in some fresh nutmeg and some cinnamon from the huge bag of cinnamon sticks I'm never going to get through! :)

I've also got baked potatoes in the oven for twice baked potatoes and steaks, spinach, some sort of corn dish as well.

Trying out a new meal deal from M&S

you get for 6 quid

2x pork loin steaks
1 apple, shallot and sage tray bake stuff
1 bag of 2 red onions
1 bag of 2 jazz apples
1 bag of charlotte potatoes...

it is rather tasty....

French Onion Soup! As I was reminded by the soup thread that I had put a load of onions by for it! (and it was just in time as well!)
Super tasty and sooooo easy.

Hope you are feeling better today CB.
PB, hope you and J enjoyed your meal.

We are having tomato curry- received a bunch of tomatoes from the in-laws yesterday.
