Came home to an empty house!  It's sooooo quiet...just me and the kitties....I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts!  :)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Love wild turkeys!  Did you know they mate for life??!!  When I lived in Santa Cruz Mtns, they used to walk up my street and my dogs would go bananas just looking out the window at them!  Love it when the males show all their feathers! ;D

My UP is forgetting I bought a nice bottle of wine, its currently sitting in the kitchen waiting for me! :P

Noticing it's nearly 4:00! I love it when the work day goes relatively quickly!! And since I'm in my "lame duck" period at work (i.e. can't start anything new and just about wrapped up the old stuff before leaving this job) I've been leaving at about 5 every day - only an hour from now! Yippeeee!

Took the girls out to 'scoops', one of those ice cream places where they mix-in toppings for you...

Brownie batter ice cream + pecans + frozen raspberries = heaven!!!

Finding a Triumph Classics CD at a thrift store yesterday then listening to Magic Power on the way home at full blast.  That song always brings me back to my jr. high school and foxhuntin' days.

Little one has been sick with a stomach virus the past two days. She has not been able to even hold down water. Took her to the doc yesterday morning and he gave her a nausea suppository prescription. After we administered it to her yesterday (not easy but she did not have much energy to fight it) and about 12 hours of sleep later she woke up this morning feeling a lot better. She drank a glass of water and ate a piece of toast with no problems so far. I was so glad because her doctor said unless she could keep down fluids by this morning it would mean a trip to the ER.

I'm still holding my breath about her keeping it down but so far so good. Huge relief because she was almost at the point of getting dehydrated.
