Britwife...I liked it, I tried a chili con carne and rice frozen meal that really hit the spot and a 25p bag of tortilla chips along w/it!

That would be me. Have you tried Red Square Purple? It's my favourite, but hard to find in the UK. Tennessee has a law that makes it illegal to mail alcohol, so not WKD for me until I'm back in the UK.

Late August/Early September, if everything goes as planned. But I'm going to be a missionary intern, so I have to be on my "best behaviour"....which means no pubs/clubs once I sign my commitment form.   :P

Genuine TexMex food. I've found a restaurant or two that advertised themselves as "TexMex" eateries, but alas they hadn't a clue.
At the SONIC: Large Cherry Limeade please ...

Well, no Nestle Choc. chips at the Harrogate Waitrose, but found mini-cartons of Ben and Jerry's Vanilla For a Change ice cream!***drool****

I know this isn't food, but in PA you can get teaberry gum. I looove that stuff and always buy loads of packs for when I go back to the UK. I ran out before Christmas, I guess I'll ask my mom to send some more!

Was thinking about stove top stuffing at Christmas.... I also buy that in bulk when I'm in the USA. I haven't been able to get back to see my family for about two years now.  I'm sure I'll think of more stuff soon.  ;)

Actually one thing I do wish I had more access to is pierogies...they're so easy to get homemade ones in Northeastern PA - especially if your best friend's mom makes them!

Ooh, I miss pierogies so much. I love the restaurant Kiev in NY for pierogies after a long night out.

You can make the, a bit time consuming but if you have a willing friend/partner, a nice rainy weekend day cooking project.

*goes off to find a 'rog recipe!*
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I had completely forgotten about those lovely little pockets of yumminess! I used to live in North Central PA -pierogies, subs from the store down the road and Pudgies pizza yum! I think this board is doing nothing for my diet!  [smiley=joker.gif]
