Its a sort of "old fashioned" chewing gum. Teaberry is flavored with wintergreen, which grows in the mountains of North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Maybe this will help ...http://www.victoryseeds.com/candystore/clarks_teaberry.html

I buy loads of it when I go home to visit.

I know this isn't food, but in PA you can get teaberry gum. I looove that stuff and always buy loads of packs for when I go back to the UK. I ran out before Christmas, I guess I'll ask my mom to send some more!

There is a place online that sells Teaberry gum... 'Everything Cinnamon' is located in Southend, i think, .... i was on the site this morning buying cinnamon toothpaste, and noticed the Teaberry!

Actually one thing I do wish I had more access to is pierogies...they're so easy to get homemade ones in Northeastern PA - especially if your best friend's mom makes them!

I've got a fab recipe for these and make them all the time.  Tried and tested from my grans friend in PA.  Pretty easy to make as well if you want to have a go, let me know!!

LOL! I think cinnamon and wintergreen are flavours Americans seem to love! I never developed a taste for either!

Wintergreen I've always loved; now I notice loads of new flavours that I can't tell what the difference is, between Wintergreen, Blast of Fresh, Winter Ice, etc.
I got a box of Dentyne "Vanilla Ice" when I was home... haven't tried it yet... will either be gross or awesome.   :)

If there's a problem with it, I'm sure you'll solve it.  ;D

Wintergreen just makes me think of the smell of that nasty Skoal stuff all the redneck boys in my highschool used to chew (dip). Ugh. Spearmint, I love! It's like picking mint fresh from the garden and munching on it! Cinnamon? Always smells like halitosis to me, so I've never understood the appeal of using cinnamon in breath-freshening gum or mints. And why are they all called mints regardless of whether or not the flavour is mint?? Oy, I'm on a rant now.  >:(

I didn't want to admit that might have influenced my decision in buying it... and wondering if he gets any royalties  ;)

So funny; I'm the opposite.  Spearmint doesn't remind me of anthing awful, just don't care for it.
Wintergreen reminds me of slumber parties when we would turn all the lights out, get under a heavy blanket, and crunch on them mouth open, and see sparks!  Very exciting when you're 14.

i never associated teaberry with wintergreen... it always seemed a bit cinnamon-ish to me!

Belindaloo... i use cinnamon toothpaste, and chew cinnamon-flavoured chewing gum all day... but i can assure you that i dont have halitosis!  ;)
