I dont think this is odd, rather it's perfectly logical to me.  But DH thinks it's odd.  I wash all clothes inside-out.  The dirt (sweat, dead skin) is really on the inside of clothes, and washing inside-out keeps the colours from fading.  Socks, underwear, shirts, trousers, everything.

What about when something stains on the outside of the garment - like food or mud? :)

That doesn't really happen to me a lot.  If I ever spill food on me, I quickly get the seltzer, so the stain is already removed by the time it goes into the wash (inside-out to get the yucky people-stuff off it).  I cook with an apron.   :)

i just thought about this bit of info. this morning...and i'm not really sure if it makes me odd or not....maybe some of you can tell me if you're like this as well....

i can't have just one of something when it comes to products, tools, etc.  i have:

3 curling irons (two the same size)
2 shampoos in the shower
3 conditioners in the shower
2 different body washes
4 different deodorants
3 different types of tampons (brands..not absorbency)
a gazillion different mascaras
5 different hairsprays
a bazillion different body lotions

i could go on and on and on with what i have more than one of.  i don't know why i do it.  i mean...who really needs more that 1 kind of deodorant?  and i'd like to add that none of the above mentioned products were purchased in the UK....i brought them all with me from the US....and i've been here for 4 months!!  and some of the stuff that i have i could probably go another year without needing to buy more.  i actually use 95% of the things that i have...i'm not one of those "just for looks" girls.  so it's not like i buy these things and they just sit there for when i need them.....i'm crazy like that i guess.  and i wondered where all my money went when i was still in the US...  :P

is it just me?

No, it's kinda me too.  I have 3 different deodorants going at any given time, because they all perform different functions.  If I can justify products providing different functions, then I'll have more than one going at a time.

Nope.  I have 3 bottles of the SAME hair gel and 3 containers of the SAME deodorant on the shelf right now....all about half used.   ::)

We have one of those 5-ft high cabinet things with lots of drawers in the bathroom and one drawer belongs to DH....the rest are packed with my junk.  We'll be moving in a couple of weeks and I'm soooo looking forward to cleaning it out!  I mean, who really needs 4 cans of hair mousse that haven't been used in two years?!?   ;)

well, then perhaps I am odd - I have ONE deodorant, ONE shampoo, ONE body wash, NO hairspray, NO gel or mousse, ONE curling iron seldom used.....

but then perhaps I'm just ...... ugly????  ::)

I don't know if this is odd or not, but I have gone on strike from shaving until the weather gets warm!  I don't like shaving much anyway -- usually only do it with some regularity in the summer when legs, etc are showing.  But poor DH, if it doesn't warm up soon -- the jungle on my legs is going to overtake him in bed! He takes it all in stride, saying in jest -- It's like sleeping with a man! But how would he know?! :o

Ok, now I've thought of something odd about me.  I don't shave my legs, ever. My hair is really fine and light blonde so you can't see it.  I hate the feeling of clean shaven legs on me.  On my husband, however...  he's a former cyclist and had to shave his legs when he was riding.  He never got out of the habit and the daisy razors in the shower, are for him.  I hate the feeling of his legs with hair on them!

I also have issues with shaving my pits -- every time I do it, I end up breaking out in a horrible rash (razor burn?) afterwards that in turn scabs over and takes forever to heal.  It really annoys me, so I've been going 'natural' more & more...

And like MrsPink, my hair is fine & blonde too.  I had a friend from Rio who didn't shave either, but instead would dye the hair on her legs blonde from time to time.

Shaving is just a pain, full stop.  And even when you have clean shaven legs, they don't even stay that way for more than 24 hours -- so what is the point of all that wasted effort? :P

I can't believe I didn't get involved in this thread sooner!

All of my toes, except my pinkie toes, have fully functioning joints, just like fingers.  I can grab things with them and spread them out to look like monkey hands.  Unfortunately they spread when I walk, so I can't wear thong sandals.   :\\\'(

I rarely shave in the winter - it's just too darn cold to worry about it.  My husband has grown to accept it, but I will shave for special occasions.

I'm a little obsessive-compulsive too.  For exampe, every week we write our menu on a board in the kitchen - with little check boxes next to each day.  Sometimes my husband will use triangles instead because it drives me up the wall and I have to change it.  Same thing with the toilet paper thing discussed earlier.  I do it at work too.
