Get ready, I need to mention the 'n' word.  Netto does Kraft macaroni and cheese.  It is in red box and it is called Kraft Cheesy Pasta.

Farmfoods also sells Tide.  I couldn't believe it...steak slices and Tide.

Lots of people have tried the red box and say it is nothing at all like the blue box.  I believe someone described it as 'tasting like wet dog'.    So dont get your hopes up!

Tide!?  OMG... i may need to get to a Farmfoods for that one!  :)  I always liked the smell of Tide and Gain.

Tide....of all the things to miss I just don't get it..

I've honestly always hated the kraft mac and cheese little boxes. More of a kids thing because the cheese powder smells like ass.

Kraft deluxe though is a different story. I've baught it before just to eat the cheese sauce hehe.

In USA: Kraft Deluxe + Rice A Roni Fried Rice = cheap and easy meal

In UK:   Kraft Deluze + Rice A Roni Fried Rice = expensive luxury meal for special occasions

I can't believe it either - what a strange sandwich that would make!  ;D

Please don't share how you know this.  [smiley=puke.gif]

Sorry, but I couldn't resist this one.  I used to have a boss who was very fussy about her food.  If she didn't like it, she would say, "It tastes like butt."  I heard that so much that I finally said, "Please don't tell me how you know."  She got a bit embarrassed, but didn't say it as much.

Morrisons was selling this chipotle paste which was fab, and now they don't have it anymore.  Bastids!

A couple of new discoveries (for me) in today's browse through Morrisons.  In among the spices section, they are selling two chipotle products.  One is a set of Mexican seasonings under the brand name 'Creative Cook' - which included small, short jars of:  dried crushed/chopped chipotle peppers, ground cumin, dried coriander leaves :-X, and 'Mexican spice rub'.  Well I wasn't going to get that ridiculous assortment just for the dried chipotles.

But then I spied the other chipotle product:  Morrisons own brand 'Food Fusions', Smokey Dried Chopped Chipotle Peppers in white vinegar...  ???  Seems a little bit strange, but I got some to try because I figured the white vinegar will cook off them.

Bless them, they appear to be trying - even if it is misguided at times.  Oh & they are still stocking Cholula Sauce, another kind of red chili hot sauce, and 'Green Habanero' chili sauce - all of these (Mexican-oriented products) placed in the section that has things like Patak curry sauces, not with the Mexican stuff further down the aisle.  :P

I really shouldn't complain - at least they moved some hand baskets next to the 'new entrance' (the store is remodeling) so I didn't have to treasure hunt through the store for a basket this time.

Tescos in Essex now stock Reese's Pieces.

I know for a fact the ones in Basildon and Chelmsford carry them.

43g bag for 49p.

Also I finnaly got my company a prefered UK Costco company and went there last week.

They have Hershey syrup, Hershey Minatures, Hershey Kisses, Cinnamon Rolls similar to the old fashioned Pecan Whirles we're all used to, Popcorn Tins with Caramel, Vannila, And buttered but unfortunitly no Cheese popcorn, Pace Salsa HUGE bottle for like £3, Frozen Soft Crabs(YUM), and NO CORN DOGS!

I went to the one at Lakeside.

Ahhh, yes, we spotted Reese's Pieces for the first time as well today!  Tesco on Old Kent Road in London (a medium-sized one) had them. Yumyum!

Not a food product, but has anyone else ever seen Chapstick sold here?  Today at Morrisons, they actually had Chapstick!  Just the plainy plain old variety Chapstick (it does have SPF though) - not the vanilla mint kind that I like (is that still available in the US?)...but still, Chapstick!  I bought two tubes because DH and I both like it, and I've not yet settled on a good, cheap, basic lip balm product here, that I like as well as Chapstick.  It's being manufactured somewhere here in the UK - maybe it was Herefordshire, can't remember.  But I was stunned to find it!  :o

Heh, well I think I have to respond to this one, as a lip balm addict!

I have tried UK brands since I've lived here, but haven't found anything I like as much as Chapstick.

I have bought the Chapstick brand at more than one Superdrug around the London area recently.  Before I realised this was possible, I had my dad bring me 10 tubes of it the last time he visited us in the UK  [smiley=laugh4.gif]

Have you seen any varieties of it except the plain (unflavoured) one?  That's all Morrisons had, but I was so shocked to see it at all - I couldn't believe my eyes!  I was just in Superdrug here (Leeds) either last week or the week before, buying lip balm (Nivea brand) & they didn't have Chapstick.

It's been around for a couple of years--I found it at Boots in Belfast not long after we moved. But it's not the same to me. Chapstick is one of the few things I'm still importing. Good thing it's small and light! ;D

I think the Superdrug in Ealing (where I last bought Chapstick) had cherry flavoured (yuck) and maybe a minty one too - I will have to look again this coming weekend when I do my usual shop.  I still have a big stash of Chapstick left from my last stock-up, so it's been a while!  ;D

Here is a link to Chapstick's website regarding UK stockists, for what it's worth:
